[jaroslav halak] [a slovakian netminder for the montreal canadiens. someone watches too much hockey.]
[tom] [kittypet] [seven moons] [kittypet]
____________[LOOKS]
Halak is a very lean cat, with strong facial features. His muzzle is narrow and pointed, and his ears are also tall and narrow. His blue-grey eyes are slightly set back into his tawny face, and there are golden flecks in them - he's rather gaunt. Halak's muzzle is white, dotted with golden spots. The tips of his ears are also white. The tom’s body is long and slender, not to mention strong. His fur is a light golden-brown, with slightly darker stripes and mottles over it. His paws are white in colour, and so is the tip of his tail, his chest, underbelly and half of his shoulders. His fur is smooth and soft, not too long and not too short. It’s very downy and thick, yet it keeps his slim frame.
____________[PERSONA]
For lack of a better word, Halak’s a little bit… lost. He doesn’t really know what he wants to do in the world, and he’s not the most capable cat. He isn’t a stronger fighter, but as he gets older he’ll be able to use his lean body to his advantage. He’s also a stronger jumper and relatively fast on his feet for a young cat. He’s extremely shy, and is never the one to initiate conversations. He’s also very modest, looking down when complimented and scuffing his paws. Still, when he has his heart set on something, he pursues it single-mindedly, and no one can deter him from his path. He just wants to do what he loves – which is running. Halak doesn't snap easily, but when he does, his temper is something to behold. He also has an accent.
____________[HISTORY]
Halak’s parents weren’t in love. They didn’t defend each other from enemy warriors or snuggle together to conserve warmth during a harsh Leafbare. No, his parents barely even knew each other. The Twolegs put them together, waited for them to mate, and then separated them. Halak was told this story by his mother – who used various words to sugar-coat the birds and the bees. But after that, Halak was soon separated from his mother and given to a Twoleg. He didn’t mind. The food and the company were both good. But the territory that his Twoleg had claimed was small, and Halak didn’t like that. All the tom wanted to do was run, and to run he needed to escape.
