[Evening] [The night has both a good side and a bad side to it]
[Female] [No Clan] [20 Moons] [Loner]
____________[LOOKS]
Eve (what most cats call her) is one of those cats you think of during Halloween. Most of her bulk is skinny but strong, built for agility. Her long, agile legs and slender body hints of WindClan descent, likely from her grandmother. The she-cat's tail resembles a snake's winding body, but when her fur bristles, it poofs to impressive size that can be used as a tatict to intimdate. This applies to the rest of her pelt as well, which is a sleek raven-black, short-hair and illuminates under the night. So if you haven't noticed it already, Eve is a very beautiful she-cat, despite the ways her eyes glow eeriely in the dark. They are bright green, and even brighter in the black of darkness. Very keen eyes, are they, and although they'd easily give the loner away if their luminence is spotted, the rest of her bodice hides easily in the shadows.
____________[PERSONA]
Let me say Eve is one who is used to getting what she wants done. Her appearance is flattering, if not rather seducive, and she likes taking advantage of that. Flirting is not her thing, however. In fact, she doesn't even like the company of other cats (the sole reason why she has remained a loner and not a member of any clan). If anyone is to get in her way, she'd just use a persuasive way of speaking and her looks to keep her reputation but yet have the other cat stay out of her business.
Another thing about this black cat is that she loves the moor, and that is one the reason why she often lingers around and helps WindClan more often than others (the other reason being that WindClan tends to go hungry more easily). It's not a surprise, for her grandmother was a former WindClan cat, although she knows little about her.
Eve also is a calm cat. She doesn't get angered easily. In the case she does, she seldom shows it. The cat rarely acts aggressive either. Eve has always preferred peace over war. Her face is almost always expressionless, unreadable, her poker face set on default. The loner has had many experiences and wisdom to share, but due to her self-serving tendencies, she often keeps them to herself.
She is not seclusive enough to not care for other cats, however. Eve has always found herself checking in on the clans' statuses, although she has no interest in joining any herself. Another oddity about her is that she likes to help others, but only as anonymously as she could. The she-cat has always liked stirring up an interesting mystery. So, that is the reason why she is known for 'stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.' She doesn't know, however, that it has been the cause of many territoral disputes over ShadowClan taking ThunderClan prey and RiverClan fish stolen, etc. Out of all the times she's done her snatch-and-gives, that has only happened to a few sceneros. Usually, she steals from other loners, wandering groups, left-over fox prey and twolegs.
So in general, although Eve is an expressionless, often seclusive cat, still a caring loner she remains.
____________[HISTORY]
EVENINGFLOWER
Let's start way back, to the time of Eve's grandmother. The cat was also black, such as Eve, and represented her in many ways. Her name was Eveningflower, and was as gorgeous - maybe even prettier - than Eve herself. This attracted much attention to toms, and jealousy from her female clanmates.
Eveningflower, although clanborn, never really settled down admist the many cats of WindClan, and wandered off far often. It was this way she met Eve's grandfather, Tree. (Yes, his name is Tree o.o) He never really had a name, but other cats started calling him that after one pointed out how his striped brown fur has the pattern of tree bark, and his emerald green eyes are like leaves on a branch. Anyway, due to Eveningflower's looks, obviously he fell in love. Eventually the WindClan cat began to enjoy the tom's company as well, and began sneaking out of camp and out of territory even more often as usual.
Other cats just thought she was depressed, for the black cat had never liked big groups and crowds. But the leader was suspicious. Soon a patrol caught her wondering out into the ThunderPath, and that was once too much. She had already been seen doing that many times before.
So, Eveningflower was promptly sent out. This, the she-cat didn't mind for as soon as she was out of WindClan territory, she settled with Tree near a twoleg barn, and that's where Eve's mother was born.
WINDSONG
Eveningflower gave birth to three kits at a surprising time: winter. One of them (a female) died a heartbeat after entering the world, cold and frozen in the chilly weather. The other two, a tom and a she-cat, survived barely. Tree named the tom Bark. The name fit because he, like Tree, had wood-patterned striped fur, and later on he became a bold cat, unafraid of dogs and the such. Eveningflower named the she-cat Windsong, a warrior name, after her birth-clan and the kit's high-pitched musical squeals.
Twolegs who often roamed the area around the barn found the little family. They decided to take them in, thinking they were cold and the kits will die in the snow. They fled, but Windsong got caught and was sent to live with twolegs. She has little memory of her mother because of that.
However, Windsong grew up healthy and strong, and beautiful with her mother's leafy eyes and her father's long, flowy, brown pelt. (If you haven't noticed, Eve's family has a long line of pretty she-cats) The twoleg's neighbor had a tom, and the people decided to breed the cats for they were both running low on money and they can sell the kittens.
Windsong and an unknown mate were force-bred to produce four kittens. They didn't even know each other. She and him were soon seperated shortly after Windsong gave birth, so the she-cat named the kits herself. They were Ginger, Dusty, Snow, and after her mother, Evening. Evening seemed like an awkward name, so she shortened it to Eve. Then Snow and Eve turned out so different within the first week she renamed Snow Dawning, shortened to Dawn. Oddly enough, Dawn and Eve had the closest bonds in the litter, despite their differences. Ginger and Dusty liked the kittypet life a bit more than they did, so when Dawn and Eve decided to explore the outside (although only 5 moons of age) the other two stayed behind.
EVENING&DAWNING
Their mother didn't know, but Dawning's adventerous streak and Evening's tendency to follow her and her hate of being caged indoors resulted in a plan to break out of the twoleg house. They roamed into unclaimed territory. The outside was more dangerous than they thought, but together they survived well.
Fresh prey turned out to taste better than twoleg pebble-stuff. The two learned to thrive. Then they met the clans. First, they were chased out. The second time, they hid and observed, and clan-life astonished them.
Dawn wanted to join them, and feel safe in a community. Eve wanted just the two of them together, like before, and roam around as companions as well as sisters. Each wanted their own way. For the first time, Eve got extremely angered at Dawn, and they got into a quarrel. Finally, they split paths.
Dawn ended up not joining the clan, finding their system to complicated for her taste and not wanting to remember her terrible fight with her sister, now lost. She took up wandering as far as possible, and her whereabouts are now unknown.
As for Eve, she managed to forgive her sister and decided to make up for it by being kind to the clans that she was so obsessed with during that point time. But as doing so, she also got a soft spot for those cats. She never saw Dawn again, but found helping the clans during times of need was rewarding to the soul, and has kept up that tradition since then.
