((ooc: I'm cool with it. You can post when you log on, and after that we'll have a constructed order. )) Blackear
He almost snorted, but managed to contain it. That was enough to give him the idea that maybe this cat really didn't know about Starclan... "Important things to discuss. With Starclan. You don't look like the kind of cat that would speak with Starclan very often. You don't smell of herbs, and leaders aren't aloud to bear kits. How about this: you leave now, and find a different route, and I'll let you be?" He really wasn't the talkative one, but this cat intrigued him. He was giving her a free pass to go, and she seemed determined to pass through anyway. He was suddenly beginning to doubt what she was saying. She didn't quite say the words right either.
Almost losing his aggressive stance entirely - but not dumb enough to look away and leave himself totally open to attack - his white form stood up, head tilted slightly to the side as a faint amusement flickered across his eyes. She was older than him, but he suddenly felt a sense of a greater maturity. Surely any apprentice he knew would have run off by now... He had been one of them barely a moon ago. His tail flicked slightly as he anticipated her next move. Maybe she'd try to recover herself. She was pretty good at this, he had to admit. She almost had him fooled.

Lilypaw yawned and stretched as she padded out of her makeshift shelter. As she walked through the reeds and on the wetlands, she let the sun soak into her fur. She smiled to herself and padded to a nearby river. The sun splashed off of silvery scales.
Lilypaw positioned herself close to the water, making sure that her shadow did not fall across the river. Then she spotted a fish. She flashed out a paw, hitting the water right under the fish. Claw pierced scale, and she threw it out of the water. It was enough the feed three elders! She finished it off with a quick nip.
As Lilypaw carried the fish proudly, she heard voices carried down by the wind. They were coming from the Abandoned Farm. Lilypaw held her fish tightly and raced towards the. There was a queen and warrior. One was a Clan member and the other was a loner. She stopped when she saw them.
The tom was bristling, but she saw a unwillingness to attack a loner would never realize. The queen looked tired. "Hello!" She called to them.

Chill
Chill could see that the tom didn't buy it. She was running out of escape routes. The tom offered her a way to back out, but her dignity wouldn't let her. "Yes, well," she said in response to his disbelief. "There's a first time for everything." Then out of the bushes exploded a new cat, a she-cat like Chill. Chill jumped, shoved down her surprise and resumed her stance. She let her senses explore this new cat. She was carrying a fish, which Chill wouldn't have minded tasting. She never had been quick enough to get one for herself from the river. Plus she hadn't yet had her breakfast. The cat had an air of carelesness in the way she burst forward. She smelled distinctly like fish.

((ooc: Sorry for poofing guys, school's been the dark forest for me lately....)) Blackear
Blackear spun his head around for a split second to see Lilypaw. He'd been a bit absorbed in his discussion with the loner, and had not noticed the approach of his clan member. 'Should have been paying more attention.' He turned back to the loner, flicking his tail in a signal for the apprentice to join him.
He stepped toward Chill, a feline growl emanating from his throat. "Give me one good reason why I should allow you to pass through our territory." Normally, he acted long before he spoke... But action was not what he wanted, not now. There may be a first for everything, but he had not been told to expect some loner to be visiting High Rocks. Normally a clan would know if a cat needed to pass through their territory for a visit to High Rocks. Lilypaw might be able to back him up on that, or might know something he didn't.
She would at least provide a good extra bit of intimidation. The queen may be willing to confront him, but two clan cats would be too much for her to handle. Hopefully she'd see that, and back down. Or at least stop insisting that she pass through. She might make a good conversationalist - on the other side of the border. Not that he needed one...

Lilypaw watched them, and the loner replied to Blackear. Blackear gave his tail a flick, and she bounded happily to his side, dropping her fish at the paws of the tired-looking queen. "Give me one good reason why I should allow you to pass through our territory." Blackear growled.
Lilypaw wanted to laugh long and hard. Blackear was trying hard to look fierce, but he couldn't fool someone who him as long as she did. As it was, her eyes were sparkling with amusement. She sat down. "Why are you here?" She prompted the queen, ignoring the tom.

(OOC: Sorry I haven't been on for like a decade! Also, it's a pain in the butt to try to find her color every time I post, so if it's OK I'm going to leave my posts colorless)
Chill
Chill shifted her weight as the new female joined the male. Two against one. The odds were all on the other's side. She was in their territory, where they were confident and knew where to go. They knew each other and could probably work together. Chill wasn't in the best physical shape, either. To test the waters, Chill said a little loudly, "I told you, I have an urget message for StarClan." Whoever that is. She sensed her story was losing some of its glamour. She felt a flash of fear but banished it. I need something with more oomph. She cast her mind about wildly. Maybe she could stress important. Another loner had once told her that the forest cats believed a lot in destiny. Chill couldn't imagine how the cat knew, and had no idea if it was legit. But loners usually told the truth. Exaggerating was for housecats who liked to play games. "It could change your destiny- all of you!" Chill said it with as much conviction and power as she could, hoping that they wouldn't see through the shady story. She just wanted them to leave so she could eat and go home, but she couldn't risk a fight.
