Though Cranefeather relaxed slightly, Silverstar stayed tensed, slowly flexing her claws. Riverfleet craned her neck, and Silverstar instinctivly tightened her grip. Cranefeather choose that moment to spring, tackling her off the black warrior. Unfortunatly for the deputy, Silverstar had her claws in just deep enough so that they snagged on the soft skin as she was forcefully thrown to the side, dragging across the flesh to be embed deep gashes. She gasped in pain as she was pounded into the soft ground, the wind knocked from her lungs. "Why would you care if I hurt her? She's just a pawn in your plot for power. Face it, you could never have done this on your own. You needed someone stupid enough to follow you, to provide loyalty... and lo and behold, the perfect candidate happens to be deputy too, so you wouldn't have to promise her much to join you. Even if you could defeat me, she'd be next on your hitlist, because your thirst for power is far stronger than anything else that cold heart of your's could possible feel. Hear that?" she screetched, craning her head at the bloody Riverfleet. "He's going to kill you next. You were foolish to trust a murderer," she spat, and quickly curled her paws in, grasping Cranefeather's massive white forelegs. With a slight grunt of effort, she yanked on his paws, trying to unbalance him, while she twisted her back legs, as if trying to flip over. "Don't touch me," she whispered, her voice cold.

Nothing inspires forgiveness quite like revenge. ~Scott Adams Cranefeather hissed in disgust as Silverstar began blabbing on, and on, and on about what she thought Cranefeather's plot was. Stupid piece of fox-dung! She had no idea what love was. "Distractions are useless," he snarled, "Especially lies. Riverfleet, you'd have to be a mouse-brain to believe her tales." As he was speaking, Silverstar twisted her paws around, trying to unbalance Cranefeather. Then her back legs twisted, lke she was trying to flip. Cranefeather wobbled, but before he could lose his balance on her hind legs he pulled his hind legs forward so all of his weight was resting on Silverstar's stomach. He highly doubted it was even the slightest bit comfortable. He kicked her in te stomach, hard. Twice. Three - four times. She was annoying him, tempting him into going into a blind rage. Foolish. "For a leader, you're pretty weak," he taunted, with a hiss. He had to end this. With a flash of white he moved his forelegs to Silverstar's chest, and raked them down, snagging on Silverstar's tangled fur. The blood spurting out was satisfying. Crimson on white on silver. Surely, with all the blood, Silverstar would lose another life soon. Cranefeather would not give up until all that was left of RiverClan's leader was a lifeless, battered body. His eyes lit up at the bloody thought.
[ooc: die already xD joking, this is fun]

"To think I could feel guilty for killing a liar..." She trailed off. It was directed to Silverstar. Suddenly, Riverfleet was shaking with hatred, and rage. She growled, tensing her muscles, in preparation. She was going to slice her claws through Silverstar's fur, and feel the blood soak her black pelt. She was going to let Cranefeather kill Silverstar now. She was exhausted, and moments away from collapsing. Riverfleet's eyelids were heavy, to prove it.
Now Riverfleet had collapsed, tired. But she never was a heavy sleeper, so things could wake her up easily.

Silverstar yowled in pain as Cranefeather balanced on her tender tummy, slicing his claws down her chest. Blood poured from the wound on her leg and chest, still dripping into her eyes. She could already feel StarClan's strength slowly slipping away... "No!" she cried, desperatly struggling under Cranefeather's massive weight, clawing at the air, hoping she might actually hit the brute. But it was pointless- the movement made her body burn, and little by little, her fighting spirit ebbed away as she lost her second life that day. This time, there were no StarClan warriors. Just Silverstar, alone in the Fourtrees... with herself. The copy now was brighter than herself, made of six of Silverstar's lives, while she only held three. She stared hatefully at the clone, feeling weak, bitter. "So tell me," she muttered, knowing her reflection would not talk back. "Tell me why StarClan is leaving me to die." The starlight Silverstar gazed steadily into her eyes, and opened her maw as if to speak. Her voice was like a hushed whisper, and Silverstar strained to hear. But her previous lives went silent, as did the rest of the clearing. No Greenleaf wind blew in StarClan. No prey rustled the ground. For the first time, she was afraid of her ancestors, and what they had in plan for her. This time, she did not play dead. With all her strength and force, she pushed against Cranefeather, twisting this way this way and that, hissing furiously.

Riverfleet, who usually wasn't a heavy sleeper ended up sleeping during the violent twisting and turning Silverstar was currently doing. She was dreaming about Cranefeather, as always. Riverfleet's energy was offically drained, so she had to let Cranefeather do the rest, then carry her back to camp. The next day, she'd announce the "rogue attack". It was hard.

War is a series of catastrophes that results in a victory. ~Georges Clemenceau Silverstar was struggling. Cranefeather ket his balance, and avoidingSilverstar's feeble slashes at the air. Then, Cranefeather hissed in delight as he felt Silverstar's body go limp. That was another life down. But who knew how hard Cranefeather was going to have to fight to get rid of the last ones? He waited for a few moments. But before he could prepare himself, Silverstar was thrashed around like a fresh-caught fish. With a snarl, he was thrown off Silverstar's stomach and sent sprawling across the earth. Before Silverstar could get up though, he was on his paws, breathing heavily. He glanced at Riverfleet, waiting for some help. But she was asleep! How in StarClan's name could she sleep through this fight? Her entire life depending on the outcome of this fight, and she wasn't even awake to lend a helping paw. Oh well, Cranefeather was pretty sure he was strong enough to destroy Silverstar. He was glad of his size at the moment. "Getting tired, Silverstar? Which life will be your last?" he snarled, taunting her to attack him. He just needed to get her mad. Once she was mad animal insticts would just control her, and she would be easy to finish off.

Riverfleet was too tired to move, so, she couldn't fight. The sun had disapeared, and the moon was shining in its place. When Cranefeather was sprawled into the earth, she cringed, but remained sleeping. She longed to tell him why she had collapsed, but she had no energy. Cranefeather was probably getting tired too.

(I see nothing. What are you two talking about?)
Silverstar scrambled to her paws the second Cranefeather's weight was lifted. She gave herself a brisk shake, hiding the shiver that ran down her spine. "You'll never find out," she growled, glaring at the white warrior. Silverstar spared a glance at Riverfleet, and almost wished she hadn't. "Is she asleep?" the grey she-cat cried, a shocked and almost horrified expression on her face. StarClan! Why on earth did I choose her for a deputy?! She's trying to kill me and she just falls alseep?! she thought. She shook her head with a disgusted sigh, watching out for Cranefeather from the corner of her eyes. I have the end this, and soon, she thought sadly, thinking of Fourtrees and what her past lives could have been trying to tell her.

It's a lot like Romeo and Juliet It feels like Something's happening to me Just as Cranefeather scrambled to his paws, he realised that Silverstar had done the same. "You'll never find out," she growled. Cranefeather twitched his whiskers in amusement. She was lying. But then Silverstar noticed Riverfleet. Cranefeathers eyes raked over her black pelt lovingly, but he felt a wave of fear. Suppose Silverstar decided to attack Riverfleet in her sleep? "Is she asleep?" Silverstar scoffed. Before Cranefeather could snap a witty remark, Riverfleet opened her silver eyes and stood up. "Am I? You make me sick," she spat. Cranefeather purred. That's my girl! he thought happily. But he snapped back to reality. Time to destroy Silverstar. It was two against one again, so they had the upper paw. Although Silverstar was a strong fighter, with moons of experience. Cranefeather had size, intelligence and brute strength and Riverfleet was the most agile out of the threesome, and clever with strategies. So Cranefeather had to come up with a plan. He racked his brains quickly. One of them would make a distraction and the other would leap on top of Silverstar. Well, since Riverfleet couldn't read his thoughts, he may as well be the distraction. Besides, Riverfleet could leap farther because of her size. He charged at Silverstar, with his tail streaming out behind him like a banner. He was bearing down on her fast.

She had a little energy, but she could take Silverstar on. Without a second guess, she leapt on the gray cat's back, and dug her claws in. Riverfleet had also sunk her teeth into the leader's throat. Just for a second, she released her grip on Silverstar's throat, so she could breath fresh air, but then she sunk her teeth back in. The deputy was satisfied that the leader was bleeding.

Silverstar suddenly made a last second decision. She had lost too many lives this fight; she needed to use StarClan's strength before it faded. So, though anger and a sense of broken pride clawed at her pelt, Silverstar turned away from the charging white tom and ran. Cowardly? Of course. Far more intelligant than staying and fighting? Most probably. Adreniline that had been pulsing through her veins since the begining of the fight sped her on, and she dared a glance over her shoulder to see the ex-warriors fading. "You make me sick," Riverfleet's words echoed in her head, forever fueling her anger. "Glad the feeling is mutual!" she hissed, both to herself and to the wind. Pushing all her strength and effort into gaining speed, Silverstar made for the river, so she could swim across to the ThunderClan border-- and hopefully get some help.

((Should I, at this point, have my TC MCA find silverstar? She is out gathering herbs by the river already. Then she could heal silverstar the best she could but silverstar would die anyway, because she just wasn't strong enough. So Willowpaw(who would not have seen the traitors try to kill their leader) would see the deputy and say that 'Unfortunately she couldn't heal Silverstar, and she was dead.' But would become slightly suspicious when when she handed the leaders body to the deputy, a feral grin spread across her face. So she would head back to camp and tell the leader everything. But there would not have been enough evidence to accuse the leader so TC just let it all play out.))
