[Sabel] [an uncommon human name, which can be interpreted as "black"]
[female] [no clan] [16 moons] [no rank]
____________[LOOKS]
Sabel is a she-cat of short stature and stocky yet lean and muscular build. Altogether, she isn't very feminine, besides her perpetually thoughtful facial expressions. She is a light-ginger tabby with russet stripes criss-crossing every which way. Her muzzle, paws, tail-tip, and stiff, straight whiskers are white. Her claws are short but very sharp, despite being seldom used. Her eyes are a melancholy shade of blue-gray, like the gloomy rainy days that Sabel seems to prefer above all others. The humidity and somber atmosphere seem to reflect her personality, which you will read about very shortly.
____________[PERSONA]
Sabel is not depressed, which you might have inferred about her had you not read this description. She is just very.. lost in thought, and always a bit mindful of her sad past. She just can't seem to find a cat or creature to love her just the way she is, which was what her past family did. But I won't talk about that just yet. In her mind, Sabel doesn't see herself the way others do. Sabel has capabilities to be friendly, loving, and adventurous, but she hasn't come to realize this yet. Like a soul lost and searching inside of herself. She isn't ferocious but very tranquil and quiet.
____________[HISTORY]
Sabel never earnestly knew her parents, except as a kit. Her mother had a very comforting gray pelt and the softest, most loving green eyes one could behold. Her father was strong and handsome, a russet tabby with a glossy pelt, silver-gray eyes, and a deep lordly meow. Their memories in no way could be washed from her mind, and sometimes Sabel feels their presence. Even as a kit, she was the quietest and most ponderous of the litter. Her parents had three kits, herself included. Their names she does not remember. One, though, was a dark chestnut brown tabby she-cat with her mother's understanding green eyes. The other was a dusky-grey tabby tom with amber eyes. While the two tussled and rolled around the den playing with leaves, Sabel lied quietly by and watched them and eyed her parents. Her father and mother were not concerned for her sake as most parents would be that their kit was not lively, they assumed she was merely different. And so she was. Everynow and then, while watching their kits, Mother would turn her face to her mate and lovingly share tongues with him. It was the same sort of quiet, ever-lasting love that Sabel inherited. Four moons passed the kits grew. Each was about half-grown. Mother left to hunt one day at sun-high. Father watched for her safe return from the time she vanished into the undergrowth to sun-down, and he began to get worried for she was a quick and effective hunter. The other two kits were preoccupied in climbing around a beech tree's thin limbs, but Sabel stood watch with her father and was equally concerned. Her mother never returned even by the time Silverpelt appeared. He dashed away, following Mother's trail, and mewed to Sabel to watch the others until he came back. Dawn was new and gray in the sky, and neither parent returned. Sabel at this point new that they probably would not, and though she was deeply perturbed at the sudden loss of the two cat who were the Sun and Moon of her world, she knew she had to stay strong for her siblings' sake. They mewed for Mother and Father, but Sabel simply replied, "They are not with us anymore, but we must be strong and keep them in our hearts." Sadness grew in all their eyes. Again Sabel spoke comforting words. "We must not grieve, for wherever they are, they certainly have each other." They were not convinced, and pleaded with Sabel to go off in search of their parents. Sabel knew they would not rest until they were permitted to go, and though sadness panged her, she decided that she would let them. So it was that Sabel's whole world disappeared from her in two days, but she knew she had made the right decision to let them go, for all things you love you must eventually let go.

Since Flower isn't here anymore, and I don't have any loners here to RP yet, I can take in Sabel, if I could have her. :3
