Tumblestep flicked her ears forward as she listened to Rosethorn. She had found that she respected and admired this she-cat beyond belief. After Solarwind passed, Tumblestep had sort of seen her as a second mentor, even if she was ready to be promoted to Warrior. She shivered slightly as she heard the words coming from the older she-cat's mouth. Shrubwhisker was to meet Duskstar in his den? Odd... "StarClan watch out for him..." She breathed softly as she looked after the cat she felt her love go out to.
They were an odd match, he and she... But they seemed to fit together... At least she felt they did. There was nothing truly official about them, but it was almost as if there might as well be... The small she-cat moved a few paces toward the gathering of cats, bristling a little as she caught the scent of a new cat that she hadn't smelled before. "Tresspasser... What are they doing..." She murmered to Rosethorn, hardly even loud enough for her to hear. But she shook her head, feeling her tail tip against her back. She dropped her head for a moment before turning to nuzzle her gently. "Thank you Rosethorn..." She fixed her with those usually life filled eyes... Though now they were full of worry and anxiousness.

Stumbleknot blinked, surprised. "You are sure, Duskstar?" he mewed, astonished. In his head he hoped that he didn't sound too offensive to Halak, but he was a bit suspicious. No doubt the deputy had complete loyalty to his clan, but every once in a while he gets suspicious vibes from his leader. Not that he paid too much attention to it, anyway, although maybe he should. It was a dilemma. He could be paranoid, or oblivious. Stumbleknot preferred to stray near the more ignorant side, but recently he has been having second thoughts. Perhaps it's time to rise to the occasion when he needs to.
Quickly Stumbleknot stepped over to Halak, "What Duskstar said was right. Clan life is hard. You'll need to learn the warrior code by heart and train to become a fit warrior. But yes, it is rewarding. I don't know what I'd do if I weren't a clan cat." He tried to be as neutral as he could, and as Duskstar said those words asking Halak to decide, Stumbleknot switched his gaze to his leader and tried to read his eyes. What was he thinking? Somehow the mews sounded forceful, like poison, but Stumbleknot didn't know how.
Crazy tom... Halak's description of Duskstar rolled in his mind. Crazy all right, Stumbleknot shook his head so subtle not a rabbit would notice.

Duskstar smiled at Stumbleknot. "Completely." He reassured the deputy. He then turned to Halak. "Well if that cat's got your tongue I will take your silence as a respective yes." He flicked his tail to the young cat. "Now come. We have a ceremony to preform." He turned to Nowshadow and Shrubwhisker, then looked at Stumbleknot. "You three are my most respected warriors." He started. "I wish that your good judgement will be prominent in this warrior. You will be my leaders in this battle, when I'm busy with Cranefeather I need you three to keep it together. I expect great things from all of you." He purred, an odd smile on his face. He burshed passed them and leapt back onto Highrock. He was happy to see the clan was still assembled. He sat down and waited for Stumbleknot and the others.

Halak looked up as Duskestah spoke, nodding through the tom’s words. He was strong and fit, and he could defend himself, even though he was still young. He didn’t say anything, for the little golden brown tabby was far too nervous, but he felt his chest swelling with pride with each nod he gave Duskestah. When Duskestah asked him to join ThunderClan, his eyes went wide. Was it worth it? Would the tom really let him stay? Clan life seemed hard but good, and at the very least it wasn’t lonely. But did he really want to live in a place with the crazy tom?
Maybe he should refuse.
But then Stumbolnot spoke, and it immediately calmed Halak’s nerves. If Stumbolnot could survive under the crazy tom, then so could he. He was just about to say yes when Duskestah called him away, saying that they had a ceremony to perform.
“Yes!” he exclaimed a moment later, after Duskestah had assumed he wanted to join. Well, the tom was right. He did want to join.
He followed the tom, scrambling out in front of the Highrock with his head held high.
OOC. nope, no mentor yet.

Shrubwhisker sat in stunned silence as he listened to Duskstar question the kittypet. Join the Clan? Had Duskstar gone nuts? Why on earth would they let a kittypet into the Clan? And more importantly, what in StarClan was Duskstar talking about, with this "most respected warriors?" stuff? Shrubwhisker was gullible enough to be picked on by apprentices! Surely there was a mistake! The brown-furred tom hesistated, his bright green gaze sweeping the den and its contents. Noxshadow and Stumbleknot seemed proud of the responsibility Duskstar had given them. Shrubwhisker felt only confused. He raced after the tom, stuttering stupidly. "B-but Duskstar... W-when...? W-why...?" But Duskstar paid no attention to him, so the young tom merely slunk back to Tumblestep and Rosethorn, tail between his legs.

Shrubwhisker couldn't take her eyes off the small gathering of cats and she couldn't help but wonder what was being spoken of, and why Shrubwhisker looked so downcast, if not confused, and maybe fearfull. Her tail lashed with agitation and worry for that tom. She didn't know about Duskstar... Tumblestep was young yet, and longed to make her Leader proud, and yet his motives and actions terrified her. And now Tumblestep was tied to it by whatever task Duskstar gave this cat she so loved...
As soon as their little group seemed to be breaking up, Shrubwhisker moved back to Rosethorn and herself. She bounded forth, washing her tongue over his ears in a worried fashion, yet she said nothing. If he wished to volunteer information, he would... If not? He wouldn't. Tumblestep knew that. Usually it didn't keep her from inquiring, but for now she held her tongue and merely comforted the tom.

*Grayfang*
A gray bengal tom walked in to camp with a rabbit and vole in his jaw's. Green eye's once bright, were pale now. Grayfang was once Duskstar's Apprentice and now a warrior he worked as hard as possible. He did this for his sister who had her meds cat name. But he knew she was still just the apprentice of her mentor and couldn't be Medicine cat apprentice anymore because she couldn't be trained, but she wanted to be Medicien cat so badly. He knew Silverleaf had bad feelings about Duskstar and didn't see anything good happen with him as Leader. Grayfang dropped off his kill of the day and wondered overto the Meds Cat den to visit his sister. He saw her sitting at the entrance of her old den looking up at high rock. Grayfang sat beside her and looked up to, to hear Duskstar talk about war or somthing. Grayfang looked worried and saw that his sister looked scared "What's wrong Silverleaf" he whispered to her. But she didn't say not a word and this worried Grayfang even more.
(Sorry about that, I thought she was still Meds cat apprentice. Can she please be Meds cat since there isn't one)

Stumbleknot barely made a blunt nod and left, thoughts swirling in his head. What was Duskstar thinking? Was he being desperate? He sure seemed to act weird. Does Halak suspect this? he thought, Maybe he's just too excited about joining. Oh, I don't know. I've never been much of a expression-reading cat, he sighed and scolded himself silently for always being a bit too oblivious. It was definitely a habit he needed to shed. It was going to create problems for him later.
Then he ran into the side of the HighRock. It was a soft bump, but it still stung nonetheless. The deputy jumped quite a bit and shook his head in embaressment, looking around to see if anybody saw. Thinking nobody did, he exhaled a sigh of relief and made his way to a ragged step on the giant stone. It was shadowed by the rock's peak because of the sun's position at the time, but he didn't care. It was nice to have some shade; be hidden from others when you've just done something completely embarressing.
