Noxshadow nibbled on his mouse, his mind elsewhere. Elsewhere, back in the Woods. Last night. Even if it wasn't a good memory for Mountainpelt, he was going to remember it fo the rest of his life. His possibly short life - if Mountainpelt told anyone, he wasprobably going to get exiled. And with Leafbare on the way, that spelled certain death for a lone cat. He sighed happily. He didn't care. He'd die a happy cat. In fact, if Mountainpelt didn't just give up and fall in love with him, he might do it again then go kill himself afterwards. It was worth it, epecially if he went to... Well, not StarClan. He was a sinner now. But he'd spend the rest of his aftelife still buzzing with energy and excitement. He'd give her a moon. Then, well, he was going to put his plan into action.

Mountainpelt sat far away from Noxshadow, her eyes focusing on the juicy vole infront of her. She craned her neck over it, and dug in, chewing and swallowing, a perfect pattern. Her muzzle wasn't exactly stained a comic red, but more like an odd pinkish tint that she easily licked away, as she finished the vole. She knew where Noxshadow was, and she cared. How couldn't she care? He ruined her life completely in one single not, and then, let her not care? I don't think so.

When Noxshadow turned to bury the remains of his lunch, he spotted a treat. Heh, Mountainpelt was back for more already? Maybe his technique had worked. He swaggered over to her, with his best I-know-you-want-me face. "Hey, honey, back for more already?" he asked, knowing very well that she did not. He hadn't met any resistance last night, but that's only because of how scared she was. Well whatever works. He waited quietly for a response, the irritating expression still plastered on his face.

Mountainpelt stood up and shoved him. "Go away." She snapped at him, furrowing her brows and frowning. There was no way he could ruin her life anymore than he already did, and she just had to live with that, even though she tried to make herself feel better. She crouched, back to her original position, continued to glance at something that was infront of her, possibly just dirt.

Noxshadow chuckled as Mountainpelt shouted denial and shoved him. She was adorable when she was mad, maybe that was why he liked to tease her so much. "Go away, huh? You know, it's a little late for that honey. Should have said it last night. Then maybe I wouldn't be annoying you now" He winked cheekily. He was happy and not even Mountainpelt's hatred for him could burst his bubble. Nothing could drag him down this lovely day. Now, what else could he do to annoy her? "Doing anything tonight?

"No. Why do you want to know?" Mountainpelt answered, turning away from him. Why did he have to choose her, of all cats? The one with philophobia. She felt nauseous, and that was obviously claustrophobia."Urg..." She murmured. Now go away before I scream out what you did to me last night. She thought bitterly.

Noxshadow chuckled. Mountainpelt could be oblivious when she chose to. "What do you think pretty-kitty?" he asked, stepping around her so he was looking at her face again. "I'm not doing anything either." She looked kind of sick. Maybe she was thinking about last night - Noxshadow sure was. Even if she didn't like it, it was good she was thinking about it. Maybe she'd change her mind. It didn't matter he disgusted her, he'd gotten what he wanted. "Anyway," he purred, "Since you seem to have no idea what I'm thinking about doing tonight..." Noxshadow took a step forwards and nuzzled his cheek against hers. "Something kinda like this," he whispered softly. Then he stepped back to appraise her expression.

"Huh? No. First, in no way, do I trust you, and I don't understand." Mountainpelt meowed. She flicked her tail, and sighed, her eyes showing no expression, as there was nothing to express. Now life wanted hurt her. And now she was frightened, in a way that was even unusual for her. Her pure green eyes flitted around the clearing, and even then, she still avoided looking at him.

"You... don't understand?" Noxshadow asked, curiously. A grin stretched widely over his face. "Hm... Perhaps I better give you a better demonstration." Still grinning happily, he tackled and pinned Mountainpelt in the exact same way as last night. The cheeky look still in his eyes, he licked his lips suggestively. "Bringing back memories?" he laughed, climbing off her to allow her to get up. Hopefully now she would realise what he was talking about. Mountainpelt was so funny when she was absolutely clueless. So... cute. Mountainpelt was glad she was his! If anyone else touched her, they could kiss their tail goodbye. Heh.

"No thank you." She meowed, before laying down again."Why?" Mountainpelt asked, flicking her tail."And I don't feel safe anymore, not like I ever did..." The she-cat spoke, sighing. Now she couldn't sleep, knowing that someone had done something like that to her. Why was she even talking to him? Good question. Mountainpelt stood up, and began to walk away.

Noxshadow sighed softly, and his cheeky mood instantly vanished. Mountainpelt didn't feel safe. That was what he was trying to change. "You know how much I want you to feel safe... I guess I made a bit of a mistake there, right? he told her. He still didn't regret it one bit - but he might as well keep that part quiet. "Mountainpelt... I'm so sorry. If you never talk to me again... I'll understand." Was there any way, at all, to make Mountainpelt - the clean freak, claustrophobic cat who was also afraid of love - feel safe? Ever? Maybe... An idea hit Noxshadow. Why should he wait a moon? He couldn't let Mountainpelt feel unsafe for a moon. Tonight. He'd finish his perfect plan tonight. Then, in the morning, she'd find him flat on the Thunderpath, or mangled in front of a badger's den. Might as well do something useful before he killed himself. Badger it was. Noxshadow could have stayed right there as Mountainpelt turned to leave. But he needed her to - if not accept, at least acknowledge his apology... Was there any point in apologizing if he was going to do it again? Nonetheless, he sprang to his paws and chased after her. "Mountainpelt! Don't go."

Mountainpelt sighed. The she-cat skidded to a stop, quickly closing her eyes as loose dirt flew up into the air. "What do you want from me?

Those six words stung. Noxshadow's mood immediately soured. What he wanted? Hah. Like she cared. Besides, he'd already told her. "I want you to at least acknowledge the fact I apologized, even if you don't accept it," he spat angrily, narrowing his eyes into a glare. The brown-and-white fur his shoulders bristled, and his tail lashed through the air, creating wild tension in his muscles. Noxshadow didn't know why, but his body instantaneously slipped into a loose crouch. If she wasn't going to even acknowledge his apology, well, then, he'd make her. Then she'd be sorry!

```say hello to the rug's topography "No." Mountainpelt hissed emphatically. "Go away." This time, the she-cat meant it. And she didn't care what he did, she wouldn't forgive him. Ever. Why didn't he get it? Would she have to yell it at him, just to get it through? No, she wouldn't do that. She certainly did hate him, but she wouldn't yell it out. It'd be embarrasing for the both of them.
```it holds quite alot of interest with your face down on it Mountainpelt frowned. What the heck was he going to do now? She didn't want to know. "You can't expect me, to acknowledge an apology, after you do something like that. And you ruined my life. What exactly was your intention?" [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Noxshadow hissed furiously again at Mountainpelt's defiance. Why did she defy him so? When she was his, anyway? Did foolish Mountainpelt even understand what acknowledge meant? No acceptance required. Just a slight nod of the head to notify him that his begging had even been noticed. She-cats were cruel. That was the only conclusion Noxshadow could come to. Especially Mountainpelt, the cruelest queen of the cruel she-cats. All of them, sinking claws into hearts, then tearing the hearts into shreds aftwerwards. His breathing sped up, keeping pace with his agitation, and the sea of pain he felt himself to be utterly drowning in. Clouding his eyes, nose, mouth, all senses. The only sensation for Noxshadow was pain. Sharp claws and fangs, invisible, but still enough to break him. To shatter his heart and mind into thousands of tiny fragments, so that not even Mountainpelt's next words got to him. Wait. She was still talking? Noxshadow brought his head out of the ocean, struggling to keep it above the surging, rolling waves of hurt. "My intention?" he laughed, a cold, harsh, empty sound. An echo of what it once was. "Well, Mountainpelt, who cares about my intentions?! Certainly not you!" Noshadow could feel himself slipping. But the ocean of pain had disappeared - instead an even deeper, darker fate awaited him. Insanity. He could feel it's black tentacles gasping at the edges of his mind. His anger was feeding it, letting it grow. Insanity was preferable to pain. "You're mine!" he snarled, "You have to do whatever I tell you, because I love you! See? Trapped! Like a mouse..." He padded forward, stroking her cheek with his tail. "Hm, you're a much better prize than a mouse though, aren't you? Much better...
