Duskstar trotted into the clearing, proud to be the first to arrive. Silverflower walked at his flank, fretting over leaving Dawnkit at camp. She twitched her tail, occationally flicking Duskstar on the side with her tail. Duskstar finally turned and glared at her, forcing her to stop. He then raced ahead and leapt up onto the Great Stone. He turned to face Thunderclan and sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws. Silverflower sat down quickly, looking at him worriedly. Duskstar wondered what his beautiful mate was thinking, and then realized how mean he'd been to her lately. He leapt back down and padded up to her, nuzzeling her cheek affectionately. "I love you." He murmured, then leapt beck up onto the Great Stone. He smiled, then turned around, once again facing the clans. The gathering had offically started with their arrival.

Riversong Riversong padded along softly, gazing up wonderingly at the stars. As usual, they were especially bright, since it was the night of the Gathering. Right, the Gathering! A familiar tingle of excitement rushed through her. Riversong lagged a little behind Duskstar and Silverflower. Why wasn't Silverflower staying home with little Dawnkit? Oh well, she supposed the other queens were babysitting her tonight. As Riversong entered the clearing, the blue-furred she-cat noticed ThunderClan were the first Clan to arrive. She purred happily. That was good. She sat down next to Silverflower. "Hi, Silverflower," she greeted. "How's Dawnkit doing?"
Noxshadow Noxshadow slunk silently down into the Clearing, his white-and-brown fur clearly showing in the dark setting. His bright, golden eyes quickly assesed the scene and noted ThunderClan was there first. Who cared, if Mountainpelt wasn't here yet? Without her, ThunderClan eant nothing. He sat down away from the rest of his Clanmates and hunkered down for a night of boredom.
Spicestar The ginger tom paused, breathing in. ThunderClan was here, but he could barely even tell over the strong WindClan scents that blew around him. He flicked his tail to his warriors before letting the excitement overtake him as he rushed down to Fourtrees. He'd never get over that familiar thrill, but now it was even better, because he was Leader! Apart from poor old Rippedtail's retirement, WindClan had only good news to share, with lots of new apprentices getting mentors and a brand new medicine cat apprentice. Although Spicestar had a humble nature, he still was proud of his thriving Clan. Spicestar decided to wait until the other Clans arrived to have a chat with a few of the other cats. To see how they were doing - not looking for weakness. Spicestar generally cared how the other cats were faring, especially during Leafbare.
Pantherpaw Her first Gathering! Ever! Pure energy raced through Pantherpaw, driving her towards the line between excited and hyper. Her excitement just kept building as the black she-cat and her Clanmates drew closer and closer to Fourtrees. Then they were there. Spicestar lead them down, and the little apprentice noticed that so far, only ThunderClan was there. No apprentices yet. Maybe she'd just hand out with Bearpaw and Loudpaw tonight, then.

It was the night of the Gathering and the Clan was seething with excitement. Snowpelt felt no shortage of this excitement as well. She was thrilled to come and hear the news of the Clans, but more on her mind was to speak to her beloved brother... She had not gotten the chance to talk to him since the last Gathering... After which she knew he was to become leader after Echostar's words. She had no idea of his dissapearance or anything, and she completely expected to see him coming in from the ShadowClan's territory, proudly and boldly leading his Clan alongside the Deputy he chose. Her heart leapt and soared at the very thought of her beloved littermate leading his Clan. And her niece... Certainly she was to be a Warrior soon if she wasn't already, despite the dissapearance of them.
Her tail whipped back and forth as she bounded toward the hollow alongside the rest of her Clan. Her spot had been taken near Pantherpaw and she grinned broadly at the young cat. Snowpelt always held a soft spot for the younger cats, and it was no different with her. She absolutely loved all the younger ones, and the older ones of course, of her Clan. She grinned and nudged Pantherpaw in a playful manner with her shoulder before leaning close. "Excited?" She grinned broadly at her as she ran alongside her, glancing to Spicestar for his indication that they should continue down into the hollow. It was only ThunderClan around for the time being, but she knew the others would be along shortly, and the first thing she was to do was to find her brother in the crowd. She just knew he'd be here. He was the Leader for goodness sakes. She tried hard to keep her jittery excitement to herself, however. She couldn't seem unsettled to the little ones. She had always been a solid, calm part of their life, very stable and motherly to them all, whether they liked it or not, but as far as she could tell, they didn't mind at all.

[Marshflight]
Moonlight flickered past the pine trees, their full though skeletal frames gently combining with the dark night sky in the near distance. Its rich blue depths tinged visible with the twinkle of Silverpelt dashed upon it. A single form rose, his powerful body and daunting size seeming to deepen the silence that lingered over the audible distances. His molted coat shone a deep silvery grey, his usual black hairs tinting with the moonlight’s gaze; patches of slightly more discernible color lay spread over his pelt as well, the orange going dull with the light that lingered over it from above. His gaze washed over those who had taken place behind him, his beloved clan mates and friends as they waited obediently for his signal; the one that would send them bursting over the rim of the clearing and into the gathering. Marshflight wanted nothing more then turn back home; rather not wishing to face the Clans, including the silvery cats of Silverpelt with his only to familiar news; another cat had gone missing.
But this had not been just any other clan cat, this had been a leader; the brave, confident Sharpstar had lost his way somehow, not returning after his solitary trip to Moonstones that night, leaving a somewhat overwhelmed, and nervous Marshflight in his stead. The tom couldn’t shake the unprepared feeling that rose to his throat, even though he had gone over what he was going to say a hundred times already. Refusing to do his thinking inside of Sharpstar’s den he had found a quiet place by the nursery; nearly empty of kits by this time of year. That thought only too reminded him of his new duties, the first getting everyone apprenticed, and then Nightpaw’s warrior ceremony… Marshflight had never really gotten to say what he wanted to his black pupil, the conversation following the clan meeting turning sour at the time with tense cats and conflicting personas had flashed teeth and flattened ears.
But now they were all here, dawns after and still without their previous leader. The tom had secretly dreaded the coming gathering; still not wanting to believe that Sharpstar might be lost…well, forever. But even as night had fallen and the group gathered to leave he had refused to give up hope, there was still time, if only more had been available… Marshflight mentally shivered. If only he had never gone missing… But the tom, no matter how much he wished to, couldn’t do such a thing as take back time. And even the great cats of StarClan couldn’t achieve a victory so sweet, even if they wanted to. So now turning forward Marshflight could scent the leafy and somewhat delicate flavor of the ThunderClan cats while a scent of windblown and earthy remnants told him that WindClan had also arrived. Thankful that they had arrived at least not last he gave a small inaudible release of breath, though his white breath fogged up, deteriorating any scraps of conspicuity.
Marshflight turned back once more, his voice seeming out of place as he spoke a last warning to his clanmates; one out of worry for them more then anger or displeasure of others knowing…At least not yet. “I must ask you all to remain quiet about Sharpstar’s disappearance for now. Its no other clan’s place to know of it until it comes our turn to speak.” His gaze held the others' gently, though he expected they respect his wish and keep their maws quiet until it was time. Making sure they all agreed he stood tall, tail raising above his body to give the signal; a flick of his up righted tip to plunge below, sending paws skidding across the frosting ground at their fast approach. Whatever it was to take, Marshflight would do what he could to keep the Clan safe, and hold out hope for Sharpstar’s return. Whenever he might show up.
//OoC// Descriptive this one is. This post with awesomeness I like =3.

Nightpaw moved with a dutiful swiftness after her Clan. She ran more toward the front and to the right of her beloved Mentor. She looked to Marshflight, feeling the tenseness in him. She would move slightly to come alongside him, slightly back, and lay her tail lightly over his flank in a comforting manner. It had been strange this moon. The relationship that had been building between Nightpaw and Marshflight could go any number of ways... Progress, or not... They had grown so close in a moon... Nightpaw really didn't respect many cats, feeling very few were truly worthy of such respect... But Marshflight, like her father, had earned it effortlessly.
Nightpaw would skid to a hault at the top of the rise with the rest of her Clan, standing beside Marshflight. She heard the tenseness, and felt it rolling off him in waves. She would look up to him, leaving her tail lightly upon his flank, trying hard to comfort him. Odd with the intense feelings coursing through her as well. She was terrified and frusterated, and deeply saddened all at the same time. And yet she wanted nothing more than to comfort him...
Nightpaw nodded slowly as she heard his words. Remain quiet about Sharpstar. She wouldn't want to talk about him anyway... She couldn't... And yet she suddenly froze. She bit her lip slightly and looked to Marshflight, worry in her eyes. She suddenly remembered Snowpelt... Sharpfang had let it slip about her while they were with the Twolegs... She glanced off as she thought about it. She didn't know who Snowpelt was but she felt she deserved to know. As they ran, Nightpaw would lean close to Marshflight, running in step with him, speaking lowly to him. "Marshflight... I have someone who needs to know... She cannot be surprised by this... Please Marshflight can you trust me to take one cat aside and tell her... Shocking her would be terrible for her..." She bit her lip slightly, not wanting to let too much go, but she simply hoped Marshflight could trust her with this. She looked to him meaningfully as she would speak so lowly as she ran at his side. Now she wasn't sure she'd be able to find the snowy cat, but she remembered Sharpstar's words to her about his sister. The lovely Snowpelt. "She won't tell anyone I know... Sharpstar would want this and he trusts her..." She shook her head and tried hard to stop talking. She was torn between loyalty to Marhsflight and to her father as well. But now as they pounded down into the seething mass of cats, she would await even the curtest answer.

Pollenwind Pollenwind raced along through the moonlight, her tortiseshell pelt blending in perfectlt with the undergrowth, moonlight and muddy ground. Despite the mud, which Pollenwind hated, it felt good to be stretching her muscles. With Leafbare rampant, and the warriors cramped up in camp half the time, her muscles were going unused. The tiny she-cat relished each tense and release she could feel in her muscles. Then they were there. At the Gathering. Pollenwind raced down the side with her Clanmates, then sat downin the first place her paws touched.
Spicestar The ginger tom glanced up as he suddenly inhaled ShadowClan scent. It looked like the ShadowClan cats had arrived. His eyes glanced about warily... Where was Sharpstar? Probably just up the back somewhere. It didn't matter.

Blackclaw nodded at Marshflight's words and followed him without hesitation, proudly watching Stormpaw as she ran at his side, yellow eyes flashing with exhiliration. The two slowed to a stop when they reached the bottom of the slope, where ThunderClan and WindClan were waiting. Blackclaw craned his neck, searching for his sister in the throng of cats, but he saw no sign of her. He muttered an apology to his daughter and padded off, looking for a familiar ThunderClan face who could tell him anything about where his sister was. He recognised Riversong, and padded over. "Nice night for a gathering," he commented softly, nodding his head in greeting. "If you don't mind me asking, where is Midnightstar? Shouldn't she be here with all of you?"
Stormpaw tried to protest as her dad left, but she had soon lost sight of him amongst the other clans. "Honestly, my first Gathering and he ditches me," she muttered bad-temperedly. With an exaggerated sigh, she plopped down on the ground ungracefully, lashing her tail in the air irritably. "This sucks," she announced. She wanted to talk to all the leaders, deputies and medicine cats, and play-fight with the apprentices from other clans. This whole thing was just too formal for her. "What does this whole forest have against having fun?" she grumbled, her chest heaving with another sigh.
Rippedtail walked side-by-side with Sandfoot, cheerfully putting up with the older she-cat's grumbling. "I'm not going to start getting like you, am I?" she said with an amused twitch of her whiskers. Sandfoot only grumbled again. Her bones were probably aching again, the bedding was too damp. "Don't worry, Sandfoot," Rippedtail soothed, her medicine cat instincts kicking in. "I'll ask the apprentices for some new bedding. Sandfoot nodded and sat down, Rippedtail sitting beside her.
Shadeclaw sat down dismally, watching the three clans present interact. He was in no mood to socialize, so he sat by himself with an interesting expression on his face, as if he was searching for something he knew wasn't there.
Ooc;; Yep. Stormpaw's a drama queen. Rippedtail is officially old now. ^^ What a lucky duck.

*Silverpaw, ThunderClan Meds Cat Apprentice*
Two Silver bengals walked in to the gathering with ThunderClan. The cats looked just a like and yet their eye's were different colors. The slim one had blue eye's while the other who looked build with muscle had green eye's. Silverpaw looked around and was excited to come to her first gathering of the Clans. StarClan must be on her side this moon. Silverpaw looked at all the different cats and soon decided to look for other Apprentice's to talk with.
*Graypaw of ThunderClan*
Graypaw followed his sister around as he looked at all this other cats. He soon saw Duskstar up on the great rock and wondered what he was going to talk about with all this other cats. Graypaw just continued to tail Silverpaw to make sure she was safe. He knew fights didn't break out at gatherings, but he wanted to make sure of that. His green eye's looked at the sky for a moment, but when he looked back and saw Silverpaw had continued without him. He started to look for his excited twin sister as to keep her safe and to get her by his side again.

Pebbletail of Riverclan;
Pebbletail trotted daintily, following his clan to the gathering. Once he arrived at the Fourtrees, he looked around for his fellow Medicine Cats. He hadn't seen them since the Quarter Moon, which seemed like so long ago already. The Riverclan medicine cat's eyes darted around the fourtrees, trying to find them. "Where in Starclan's name are they?" he muttered.
Morningpaw of Riverclan;
Morningpaw had been tailing Pebbletail all the way to the Fourtrees. This was her first time at the gathering, and how amazing it was! Such large trees there were! They seemed to tower over the entire forest! The golden tabby apprentice walked around the Island with wide eyes. Morningpaw wondered around, wondering if she could find anyone to talk to. There were so many scents, she could barely scent anyone she knew! She then took notice of a silver bangal she-cat, coming her way. Morningpaw chewed her lip, she was a bit nervous to talk to someone from another clan!
Gingerstorm of Thunderclan;
Gingerstorm took his place under Duskstar. This had been his first moon as Deputy. It wasn't like he was nervous about that, it was just that, he was nervous about Duskstar would say. With that shaky alliance he had formed with Riverclan- the other clans would be angry as heck. Gingerstorm could feel it! Especially Shadowclan. Shadowclan and Windclan- what a scary alliance.
Petalstream of Windclan;
Petalstream made her way through the crowd. She was very excited about being at the gathering. This was the third one she had been to, and it was said to be a really important one as well. What kind of things would be going on? Petalstream was eager to know. The pretty she-cat pricked her ears, as if she had heard her brother's voice. But, Gorsefang hadn't been chosen to go- since this was only his second moon as a warrior, of course.

M O U N T A I N P E L T & R I V E R ST A R and everyone else. Black then white are all i see in my infancy. Red & yellow then came to be, reaching out to me, Lets me see. As below, so above & beyond, i imagine. Drawn beyond the lines of reason. Push the envelope. watch it bend.
Mountainpelt had, unintentionally sat next to Noxshadow, considering that was the only place she wanted to be, and she prayed that he would go away. She still remembered that he... no, let's not talk about that, because that would make her want to scream it out, even if everyone stared at her like she was insane. Her conscience wouldn't bear the weight of this forever, not with her personality, leastways. Her tail wrapped around her paws, and tried her best to ignore Noxshadow. That jerk, had the nerve to say he made a 'big mistake'. Big might of been the smallest he could go, considering that was a sin, and she was in no way, ready for it. But yeah, she was too afraid to say anything.
Riverstar climbed up the rock, taking her place. The blew torwards her, sending many scents through her black nose. It wasn't a strong blend of scent, it just smelled a bit odd. Of course she was used to it.

[Marshflight]
Controlling his nerves was tough enough, and now with all the mixing scents evolving him Marshflight could feel something clog his throat, forcing him to swallow rapidly and take steadying breaths as he slowed his pace, his apprentice right at his side. Feeling her touch calmed him, the knowledge that she had lost much more then he caused him to force down his own nerves; Sharpstar was her father after all. And not only that, the whole clan was counting on him; which when now thought of really didn’t help his situation. But he needed to be strong and confident, if only for them. Now as Marshflight calmed he could discern that something other then their previous troubles were worrying her, and ever conscious of his clan mates distress Marshflight turned back to her, ears pricking as she spoke.
He pondered her words, slowing as the clan finally set foot into hollow; which at contact many split off. Going to do their own things and chatter until those in charge called for their attention. Quite honestly Marshflight didn’t want to head towards the rock yet, knowing the opposing leaders would only question about Sharpstar’s absence. And frankly the tom didn’t want to be pushed into answering truthfully, though lying was out of the question. They would find out soon enough.
Still reluctant he hopefully doubted that his presence was needed quite yet, and in turning to the black she-cat he gave a small nod of approval, hesitantly tacking on words with the gesture. “Would you like me to come or…” His voiced faded while his gaze rested uncertainly upon the apprentice. Wondering if she would simply tell him to mind his own business, as at the moment it seemed like it clearly wasn’t. As their silence deepened, the still air allowed more scents and sounds into the Clan’s meeting place, Marshflight became acutely aware that the final clan was approaching, and wordlessly he turned to watch as RiverClan came racing down, Riverstar at the lead.
As she took her place on the boulder; joining the other two present Marshflight knew he would have to go now, as the gathering could start at any moment. Turning back to the she-cat he murmured and apology with a quiet 'Do it quick' before making his way through the throng of cats towards the sooty stone. Though his heart sounded loudly in his ears with each passing paw-step he remained calm, gently working his way through the crowded hollow until he came to the stone’s resting place, pale eyes slowly working it’s way up until his large body shot upwards, paws propelling himself to rest upon the smooth, worn surface that many generations had shared.
Even as Marshflight took a seat he couldn’t help but silently be taken back at the sight, the shadows of mingling cats swarmed the hallow below, and a gentle humming reached his ears as their separate conversations reached him, subdued by his current height. His orbs now focused at those around him he noted each individual, giving a slight nod of respect to the dominating leaders.
Now being able to inspect the cats up close he could tell that Spicestar was a tom of ginger while Riverstar was almost a delicate looking she-cat, though Marshflight doubted she was anything but. Duskstar, the ThunderClan tom was clad in a dark colored pelt, muscular yet not overly hefty he rivaled in size to Marshflight; though the young tom’s build still outdid his in overall mass he wasn’t sure if he could possibly outdo the other in strength. But turning away from the others he once more set his eyes down to the waiting cats below, taking one last breath as he waited alongside them for the gathering to begin.

*Emberwing of ShadowClan*
A young tabby warrior wandered in to the gathering with two other tabbys who looked just like her. But all three Siblings had different eye colors and also the brother was the biggest of all three. You could tell that two were She cats by their smaller size next to their brother. Emberwing loved gatherings and always tried to find someone to talk with. She saw a Silver Bengal she cat who looked to be fron ThunderClan walk of to another apprentice. The silver she cat said hello with a big smile. Emberwing could tell that the two were Morningpaw of RiverClan and The meds Cat apprentice Silverpaw of ThunderClan. She smiled at the two and remembered when she was an apprentice. Always talking with other apprentice's while at gatherings with her siblings. Now those apprentice's along with her siblings were all warrior's. Emberwing saw Pebbletail, she use to talk with him at gatherings when younger. But now he talked with the other meds cats and he looked like he was sreaching for them. Emberwing looked around to see if she saw them. But she didn't and this confused her.
*Autumnfur of ShadowClan*
Autumnfur followed her little sister and big brother around the gathered cats from other clans. She never really liked Gatherings since their parents dead. It had been on a day like this that they were attacked and killed in battle. No one ever told them who killed their parents, but it must have been for the best. She sighed and her dark blue eye's looked at Ember with loved. She looked at her brother with the same loving eye's and hoped to never lose them. It would just break her if she ever lose them.
*Mudtail of ShadowClan*
Green eye's looked at Emberwing as she saw the two apprentice's. A smile crossed his muzzle and knew she was remembering when they were apprentice's. He then saw her look at something else after the apprentice's. Mudtail looked at what his sister's light blue eye's spotted and saw Pebbletail the Meds cat of RiverClan. He looked a little worried about something and saw he walked up to the Meds Cat with a frown "What's wrong Pebbletail" he asked while trying not to scare the other tom out of his fur.
*Silverpaw of ThunderClan, Meds Cat Apprentice*
Silverpaw walked up to the frist apprentice she saw and it turned out to be Morningpaw "Hi, I'm Silverpaw and I'm ThunderClans Meds Cat Apprentice's" she said shly. The young silver cat hoped to make a friend. But she saw Pebbletail and she had heard that he was the RiverClan Meds Cat. Yet he had no Apprentice and for that matter, most of the Meds cats were missing. Or that was what she thought. Silverpaw wasn't sure what Clan was missing their Meds Cat and she was worried because her mentor was one of those cats.
(I'm not sure what's going on with Brookgaze's rper, so I ask, can I please have a new Mentor who's meds cat for thunderClan if she still doesn't show up)

Nightpaw wanted nothing less than for Marshflight to know that she was behind him and would back him up one hundred and ten percent. Her father trusted in him, so she too would follow her father’s model. Her father trusted him enough to make him Deputy and to give her to him as her Mentor, and at first that was good enough for her, that was until she realized for herself how great a cat he truly was. If all this went down badly, he would surely lead the Clan just fine and have a strong Clan at his back. Nightpaw padded after Marshflight in silence after she made her plea, just knowing it was what her father would want. She sighed slightly as she tried to keep those thoughts at bay. Her father was not gone… He was not. He couldn’t be… She had a feeling, though passed it off as just that… A feeling. But somehow she just knew he couldn’t be gone forever… Soon enough she received the go ahead from Marshflight to go and find and tell this snowy she-cat that Nightpaw had only heard of. She wasn’t even sure she could find her in the seething throng of cats, but she would try… She just knew that if her father was gone, he wouldn’t want his beloved sister to be blindsided. She looked to Marshflight, a gentleness in her eyes as he asked if he should come with her. She looked away, bothered. She was torn between whether her father would want any of the rest of his Clan to know, or whether this would have to be a secret kept just between them. She wasn’t about to snap at Marshflight, instead she kept her tail tip upon his flank before moving to boldly nuzzle him gently. “I would love you to come Marshflight, but I think I need to do this alone…” She nodded slightly to him and nudged his shoulder gently just before he wandered away from her. She was thankful he seemed to trust her to the point where he didn’t so much as challenge her motives, words, or wishes. Her heart thumped hard in her chest as she thought about this… The trust and bond built between Mentor and Apprentice over the short moon.Nightpaw would soon trot off to find the she-cat she had heard her father speak of so often. Snowpelt… He spoke of her beautiful snowy fur and her gentle shimmering blue eyes… Which could hold the gentleness of a lake, the playfulness of a bubbling brook, or the fierce torrent of a raging ocean… Such an amazing cat he spoke of was his WindClan sister… She sighed slightly and soon saw a white she-cat alone and would survey her silently. Could this be the one… She had seen her mingling with a few other tiny cats, she being absolutely petite herself, and lean as if she lived on the open moors. She didn’t know the scents all that well yet, but she was getting familiar with them. Finally Nightpaw decided this must be it, and casted a glance up at the rock where the Leaders had gathered, hoping they weren’t ready to start yet. She would bound up to the lone she-cat and mew softly to her. “Exscuse me... Are you Snowpelt of WindClan?” She felt odd asking this, but somehow she felt this must be her.Snowpelt’s Clan had wandered off to go off to their own devices, and Snowpelt would stay where she was as she watched silently for Sharpstar. She longed to find him and speak with him, and yet she wasn’t seeing him, despite having seen the Clan file in. She sighed slightly and continued to search through the hollow for her huge beloved brother, and yet soon she saw a large Apprentice making her way toward her. Her scent was light as if she hadn’t been in her home long, but it smelled undeniably of ShadowClan. And something was odd about this one… She looked so much like her beloved brother… She tensed up and watched as she approached her directly. She offered a small but shaky smile as she asked if she was who she was. She would nod slowly. “Yes… I am she. Who are you?” Nightpaw tensed up a little as Snowpelt did, but as she heard her affirm who she was, she would dip her head slightly. “I’m Nightpaw… Could you follow me? I… I need to tell you something… I don’t want you to be surprised by it…”Snowpelt looked to her, slightly surprised, though as she gave her name, her eyes widened. “Nightpaw… Sharpstar’s daughter…?” She looked to her in questioning, but then would nod slightly. “Yes I will follow you…” She would move with Nightpaw off away from some of the others for the moment. “What is it Nightpaw…”Nightpaw looked to Snowpelt as they moved off together and she finally sat, and fixed the small she-cat with a careful gaze. “Snowpelt… I didn’t want you to be caught off guard by this…” She spoke absolutely softly so that only Snowpelt could hear her. (No listening in! ) “Sharpstar… He’s not here…” She glanced off for a moment, tenseness in her muscles. She watched her carefully. “He… Never came back from meeting with StarClan…” She glanced down then looked back to her away. “We… Don’t know where he went…”Snowpelt looked to Nightpaw, listening intently to her words and she tensed up, her eyes blinking a few times. She shook her head slightly, shock taking over her frame. “He… Never came back…” She didn’t understand how this could happen, but she wouldn’t say a lot for a whole few minutes. But finally she would look to Nightpaw and dip her head slightly. “Thank you Nightpaw… Thank you for telling me like this. I don’t know how I would have reacted hearing it from your next in line Leader…”Nightpaw nodded slightly. “You’re welcome Snowpelt… I’m sorry… I understand how you’re feeling I think… But… There’s still hope. I-I feel… I don’t know. It’s silly but I feel as if he’s going to come back… I don’t know how… But I feel he will very strongly… We can only hope…” She would move to nuzzle against Snowpelt’s shoulder, hoping she wouldn’t react badly.Snowpelt tensed up as the ShadowClan apprentice moved close to her, but she would nuzzle against her right back in response. “I know you do… He was your father love…” She nodded slightly, uncertainty and a deep sadness in her eyes. Yet she would nod slowly as she heard Nightpaw’s words of comfort. “Everything will turn out alright somehow…” She nodded and would draw a deep breath, forcing a smile into place. “Well we’d better head back out or they’ll think we’re plotting the other Clan’s demise…” She managed a slight smile.Nightpaw would nod slowly to her, offering a tiny smile to her. She would then nod again and rise to her feet again and move toward the cats again. “Thank you for understanding Snowpelt. But Marshflight asks that this not move past us… He doesn’t want anyone else to know about this until he announces it.Snowpelt nodded slightly. “I understand. I won’t tell anyone here. Again thank you…” She would rise as well and make her way back into the group of cats, breaking away from Nightpaw, who moved right to the leader rock, sitting silently at the foot of it. She didn’t want to go find a group of Apprentices to talk with at the moment… She simply longed to stay quiet and think for the time being. So she would. Snowpelt moved off to find someone to talk to, or to just wander the hollow listening to tidbits of conversation.(Looooooooooong post! Sorry guys!)

curveclaw ooc: lol too lazy to format
Slipping into the crowd noiselessly, Curveclaw's black and white fur glinted and reflected the moonlight back into the sky. The tom's sulpherous eyes cooked in the darkness, glancing about him excitedly. This was the night of the gathering, when all the Clans came together! Somehow, even despite his usual reserved manner, he couldn't contain the joy bubbling underneath his pelt. Curveclaw sidled up beside Nightpaw, who was something of his kin, even though he didn't converse much with the young she-cat. What would she be to him? A niece? Afterall, he was Whitefoot's cousin, who was her mother.. ah, well, who cared? They were kin, distant kin, yes, but that was beside the point. Anxiously, Curveclaw blinked up at the leaders present, wondering when they would begin to speak. His eyes stayed trained on Marshflight. Such a young cat, too young to be a deputy. Far too young to lead a Clan! Curveclaw had doubts about appointed such an inexperienced deputy, but, he supposed, he had to believe in Sharpstar's choices.. Sharpstar. What had happened to the black tom? He had went to Moonstone to recieve his lives, yet had never returned. What in StarClan had become of him? Curveclaw's pelt prickled as his eyes supersticiously scanned Silverpelt for any new dead warriors there.

Skyfire; Skyfire silently followed Marshflight into Fourtrees. Around him, the soft hum of chatter and conversation hovered in the air, seeming to warm the bitterly cold night. Shivering, the tom's mismatched eyes roved the clearing, settling on the lip where RiverClan was emerging. Skyfire noticed Pebbletail, whom he had met at the quarter moon. The other medicine cat seem anxious to find someone, so he strolled over to the RiverClanner. "Good evening, Pebbletail," Skyfire mewed, dipping his head respectfully. "Would you mind if I sat here for tonight? I could use the company," he purred. Movement in the corner of his eye made him turn, just in time to catch Rippedtail. He smiled briefly to himself before turning to Pebbletail again. It seemed that no matter what happened, he and Rippedtail would always be there to support their Clans. As an afterthought, he glanced around for Midnightstar. He was startled to end up resting his gaze on the Great Rock- four cats were seated there, but not one of them resembled the black pelt of Midnightstar. He stared openly for a moment longer before forcing his attention back to Pebbletail with a wry smile.
Ravenclaw watched Riverstar and Cranefeather round up the cats and leave camp, headed for Fourtrees. He sighed, content to stay and watch camp for tonight. He just hoped there would be some good news when they returned from the Gathering. He silently watched Silverpelt, sending a whispered prayer to his sister.
Breezefur Breezefur was just as excited as Pantherpaw as she hurried down the gentle slope towards Fourtrees. "Don't go to far!" she called to the black apprentice, but her words fell on deaf ears, for Pantherkit had already raced off. Sighing, Breezefur scrambled down after her, but she had already lost the lean she-cat in the crowd. Relax, Breezefur. They aren't kits anymore. You can't watch them all the time, she scolded herself. Taking a deep breath, she instead scanned the clearing. Her heart leaped into her throat as her soft blue eyes fell on a familiar figure. Its like looking at your reflecting from seasons ago, she thought, stepping forward slowly, even as her heart tugged violently toward a grey-white apprentice, sitting all alone. Will she remember me? Would it be better if she did? Questions like these danced through her head, and she paused, hesitant. Finally, she sighed and crossed the clearing, letting her paws carry her. "Hello," she purred quietly. "Is this your first Gathering?"
Rainpelt Rainpelt watched Breezefur slowly make her way toward Stormpaw, whom seemed to be alone. Rainpelt shook her head. I hope she knows what she's doing, she sighed to herself. Glancing around, she spotted no one of particular interest to speak to, but she did notice the leaders atop the Great Rock. Her heart sunk when she didn't recognize some of the leaders. We can't keep loosing cats like this. Its just... unnatural, she thought, distressed. StarClan, is there anything we can do to keep our warriors close? We can't keep loosing great leaders like Midnighstar, she thought, realizing she couldn't find the familiar black shape. A heavy sigh escaped her, and she sent a silent prayer that they still had Spicestar. WindClan couldn't bear to loose another leader so soon.
Rosethorn & Shrubwhisker Rosethorn and Shrubwhisker hung back, watching ThunderClan pour into Fourtrees. ShadowClan and WindClan soon followed, and finally RiverClan climbed down the gentle slope and took their places. "WindClan looks healthy. ShadowClan doesn't look half bad, either. Though I don't recognize the cat on the Great Rock. They can't have lost Sharpstar already, could they?" Shrubwhisker asked. Rosethorn shook her head. "I don't know, Shrubwhisker. Something doesn't feel right about tonight. I think they're around here somewhere- I believe Sharpstar is nearby, even if he isn't in the forest," she responded solemly. Shrubwhisker sat silently, staring down at the clearing full of cats of all shapes, sizes, and colors, all of them with a soft look of defeat in their eyes. They're loosing everything that kept that stable. I'm not surprised they look so sullen.
