Marshflight
A thundering roar split the surroundings; sending quick-hearted mammals such as birds rising against the daunting sky. A molted stream of black and orange flashed between green flora as Marshflight launched himself at the dark tom; ears pulled back and whiskers quivering as his ivories slipped into view at his ferocious snarl. “Duskstar!” His deep voice screeched; usually so full of gentle words and soft encouragement his persona had hardened as he threw himself into battle. His pale orbs lay open with such a gleam of anger that they seemed unreal and they narrowed as his long, pearly claws slipping into the wounded enemy’s shoulder.
With Marshflight’s size nearly Duskstar’s own the young tom was able to pull the wounded leader off his feet, claws still dug within the hardened muscle as he hissed lowly. “What are you doing on ShadowClan land!” The sound of his words held no questioning tone though; despite the seemingly question the verse spewed. His mind held no mind for Warhawk as of this moment; all senses focused on this demon eyed cat before him; this one who dared to enter their land alone after laying them in the coming war.

Warhawk
He was going to spring on her, she felt it in the foliage beneath her. He threatened her while calling her his love. He was mad. Utterly and completely. Preparing herself for his move, it was at that moment that StarClan had finally decided to intervene. "Marshflight!" she cried in both alarm and excitement. The ShadowClan Deputy burst from the brush like a jumping flame, leaping on the dark Leader and knocking him off his feet and hissing angrily. She rushed to help him, flanking the ThunderClan Leader. No longer conflicted with helping the monster-wounded tom who'd insulted her again and again. She only wished Stormcry were here too. The uneven odds would quickly force Duskstar from her sight, his threats would've become only distant echos.

Duskstar gasped in surprise, his weakened body not at peak preformance yet. He fell onto the gravel, hissing angrily. Rage rushed through him, over taking his senses and pushing all clarity from his mind. H pushed himself up, shouldering the new comer off and growling in anger. "You!" He screamed, enraged. He grabbed the new tom's shoulder in his teeth and yanked hard, throwing him to the dirt. He ignored Warhawk, he would not harm her unless he truly needed to. He sprang onto Marshflight, his breath coming in angery pants. "You... dare attack me! I am Duskstar! Leader of Thunderclan!" He snarled, trying to rake his claws across the other tom's muzzel.

Marshflight
Marshflight let out a gruff sound of surprise as the tom below him switch their positions; his gleaming eyes now trained on the molted tom. Fire burned in Marshflight’s now wounded form and the exhilaration that filled his body and soul left the pain unanswered as he hissed back at the enraged cat above him. “A leader not upon his own soil!” With those scalding words he threw up his powerful hindquarters; attempting to throw the larger cat off his with his straining hindlegs.
The leader’s previous flailing had not struck their mark; but the movements had dawned caution in the younger cat’s mind. As he scrambled from beneath the mad cat he remained still; ready for any attacks the other might throw at him. “Get off ShadowClan land now, Duskstar.” His voice held no arguments; and his powerful build backed up his words. “Or I’ll forcibly remove you!”

Warhawk
Before she could react, Duskstar threw Marshflight off of him. Following the two battling toms, she knew that Duskstar was larger than both of them. Together they might be able to over-power him. Warhawk just wasn't quite sure how to go about that though. Marshflight dodged a swipe at his muzzle as Duskstar yowled his madness and her Deputy growled of the Leader's trespasses. Warhawk snarled, "He doesn't dare, I do!" With that she leapt for the dark Leader, aiming for his back, claws and fangs bared. Flashes of her life raced past her vision. She saw the battle she was born in, her mother's mournful ,yet smiling face, Stormcry's pride as she became a warrior, her first meeting with Shrewfur in the Secret Tunnel. Then, she remembered the battles, those RiverClan fools as a warrior tore at her right flank, the hawk that tried, unsuccessfully, to claw out her left eye, her fury at the last Gathering. Just as she was doing now, she yowled for the ThunderClan Leader's blood on her claws, one of his lives to stain her soul. Her heart beat fiercely and the laughter of her dark anscestors pounded in her ears.

Duskstar was thrown back by Marshflight, but landed on his feet, wincing at the pain that shot through his leg. At the sound of Warhawk;s voice he immedately dropped to the ground and rolled, his legs entangling with hers as she leapt at him. He tossed her away, then seized that opprotunity to leap onto her back, hopefully pinning her down. He leaned over to whisper in her ear.
"My love... my dear, sweet Warhawk, you are just so conflicted. This one, he's not good for you. He leads you astray, feeding you lies. I tell you only the truth, yet your mind is clouded." His voice was sweet, gentle, but his paws were heavy on her shoulders, his breath hoton the back of her neck. "I could take care of you, only if you'd let me. Forget him, he's nothing compared to us." But he knew his words would no doubt fall to deaf ears. So he sighed, "I guess I will just have to make you mine before he has a chance." He murmured, sinking his teeth gently into her scruff. He smiled to himself. This was perfect, he'd shatter both their worlds. Starclan help poor Warhawk...

Marshflight
The battered tom landed on his feet; and Warhawk launched herself at the unprepared leader, though he was more prepared then she thought. She was brought down in front of Marshflight’s worried eyes; though thankfully the other tom wanted some words with her first. The molted tom took action quickly, not hearing the dark leader’s words as he launched himself at the tom; aiming for his side. Taking into consideration what happened to Warhawk just previously he fell just short enough to skim along the hardened soil at the attacker.
A monster’s familiar sputtering began in the distance; and within seconds the swerving creature had come into sight. Marshflight then launched himself at Duskstar, hoping the passing monster distraced him enough for his attack. Apart from usual high attacks his slipped to his side; latching his teeth into one of the tom’s front limbs as his hindquarter’s struggled in the dirt; trying to trip the tom from underneigth to hopefully free the she-cat from his grasp.
His pale eyes were narrowed with an urge for battle now; he wouldn’t allow one of his clanmates to get hurt while he stood by watching. Never. His full attack had been smooth and graceful; and although it might have left him open for counters he knew this would at least give Warhawk some time to get away…At least some.

Warhawk
"No!" she growled helplessly as Duskstar turned her own attack around on her. She struggled under his weight uselessly and cried out in fear for the first time in... ever, as he took her scruff in his jaws. Feeling a strange pain, she cried out again and tried to thrust herself out from underneath the ThunderClan Leader and away. Outside from her pain, she heard Marshflight scuffling around until finally Warhawk felt the weight on her lifted and she launched free of the encumbrance. Gasping for breath, she glanced back at the battle behind her and nearly broke down then and there. Again, StarClan answered her cries with another savior as Stormcry burst from the bracken over to his former apprentice.
Stormcry
Stormcry had heard the sounds of battle as he neared the border between ThunderClan and ShadowClan along the Thunderpath. Leaving his patrol behind, being the fastest warrior among them, he came upon a horror that even made a battle-hardened warrior like him take pause. "Warhawk!" he yowled to the younger warrior as she was freed from her nightmare. Charging into the trauma, he went to check on her first, she'd been like a daughter to him ever since her apprenticeship, he had to take care of her. Blubbering incoherencies to him, he could tell she was in shock. "Go home, go see Skyfire now!" he ordered, she needed no further urging and took off into ShadowClan territory.
With her taken care of, Stormcry turned to the monstrosity tangling with his Deputy. "You'll pay for that, Duskstar!" he yowled, all calm gone from, only fury burned in his vision. Claws unsheathed, gold eyes burning with hatred, fangs glinting in the light of day, he launched himself at the demon that dare give himself the name 'star'. He felt his claws dig into fur and flesh, blood burst on his tongue as he bit into unseen veins, tearing his fangs away violently before darting back in for more. All the while, he yowled in between bites, "Murderer! Demon! Baby-raper! I'll take all nine of your Dark Forest granted lives by myself!" A red haze obscured most of his vision, all he could see was his enemy and his enemy was everything. Well, that wasn't entirely true. He could also see Warhawk's smiling face, her bright icy-blue eyes shining with mischief, and the innocence of youth. All of them were probably lost because what Duskstar had done! He cried as he fought on, never tiring as his rage pushed him forward. She'd been his daughter in all, but blood, always would be, and this monster had torn her, ruined her! Stormcry'd kill this monster and all of ThunderClan if he could see her smile again.

Duskstar yowled in surprise as Marshflight dragged him away from Warhawk, his paws scrabling feebly as pain shot through his injured leg. More fangs came to his flesh, the voice of an unknown tom filling his ears. He kicked out, freeing himself from Marshflight and crying out in rage as Warhawk slipped from his grasp, farther into shadowclan territory. "No! No, my love... don't go..." He whimpered pitifully, taking two steps toward the forest, then whirling around, His entire pelt prickling. "You think you can keep her from me? No one seperates me from those that I love!" He snarled, launching himself at the new tom, a viscious snarled ripping from his throat. He swiped out with one paw, aiming a solid blow to the side of Stormcry's head, enough to knock any cat over. Then he leapt at Marshflight, rearing up to slash at his ears and eyes before bringing bother his paws down hard, aiming to crush Marshflight's skull.
ooc: I'll 'strangle' Marshflight in the next post. You can dodge that last blow.. if you don't, you die... xD

Marshflight
Pain settled in his gut at Duskstar pushed away from him, hind paws connecting with the soft underbelly of the deputy with a fierce jab as he lay there; momentarily stunned. The sounds of rustling fur and fierce voices filled his reviving mind as he scrambled to his paws, skittering away from the demonic tom as quickly as he could, for in a fight like this receiving too much punishment would be fatal. And as he crouched a few fox-lengths from the seemingly indestructible creature before him his stomach clutched painfully; a reminder of how hard the wounded muscles could still hit if positioned right. His breath was coming back though, shallow sucking of air returning to pants as the effect of being winded wore off, and he could now fully take in the scene before him.
Marshflight’s orbs widen with shock and growing relief at Stormcry’s sudden appearance and helping paws; though he faced the leader with such a bloodlust radiating from him that the molted tom dared not search to lock their gazes. Duskstar’s howled convictions of love echoed feebly to the fleeing she-cat; fur spiked with shock and fear as the trembling ferns swallowed her retreating form. Apart from his momentary surge of whimpered heartache Duskstar’s voice hardened with hatred once more, lips pulled back into a snarl as he tried to settle a blow to the other tom’s head, fear and sudden panic lurched in Marshflight’s still recovering form as the dark form lashed out, and without a second to ponder the possible outcomes of such a rushed attack he flew forward, claws outstretched with a roaring snarl.
Duskstar surprised him though; turning to meet his rapidly advancing form as he let lose a rush of his own, claws outstretched and claws bearing down on the overwhelmed warrior before him. A pain like that of coal heated iron passed through his gaze as the other’s claw connected with the delicate sliver of skin under that cone of feathered tips deemed auds; sending score marks down his jaw line as Marshflight pulled away, Duskstar’s following paws barely missing his head; the shockwaves the powerful attack sent out shards of fear into the tom’s heaving form, his side pressed heavily against the firm ground as blood sputtered from his new wound.
The dark tom was unearthly, his attacks still holding enough power to take the healthy tom –healthy for in leaf-bare- out with a well placed blow. With his own body riddled with healing wounds and those Marshflight and his fellow clanmate’s had inflicted seemingly having little affect on his massive form, orbs haunted with the hatred that spilled from his maw and movements, eyes catching Marshflight’s own startled depths; the fear and realization that maybe this tom was undefeatable by any –apart from maybe another leader- suddenly sending a shiver down his spine, his form frozen as those paws; moments before having nearly crushed themselves into his skull rested firmly by his uninjured side as he gazed up numbly at his attacker. Momentarily hesitating and unsure of where to slid out form under his grasp.

Stormcry
The enemy whimpered out his love for Warhawk as she escaped into ShadowClan territory. Stormcry sneered "She's going home, back to cats who truly love her," he growled. The ThunderClan Leader turned on him, aiming a blow at his head. The big tom may have had strength on his side, but Stormcry was much faster. Smirking in amusement, Stormcry side-stepped the attack, before turning his dodge into a flurry of blows of his own. His claws raked through shoulder fur and scored down flesh, red lines tracing the passage of his talons. "You ThunderClanners are all the same! You think the warrior code doesn't apply to you, just because all the old legends tell of your 'generosity' and 'just' ways?" Somewhere, in the background of his fight, he heard Marshflight fighting the same monster.
"Don't turn your back on me, you deceiver!" Stormcry growled as Duskstar tried to take a swipe at Marshflight. Darting around his enemy with a speed to rival WindClan, Stormcry meant to confuse the demon-Leader. "I sense that you're angry," he taunted, swiping at Duskstar's left flank before darting back out of reach, "Take it out on me, little one. After all, demon descendants have nothing better to do than tear apart families and lives! Tear me apart, Demon lord! I know you want to." He last sentence came out as a dark hiss. He wanted Duskstar to fight him, wanted him to focus all his attention on the senior ShadowClan Warrior. More than anything though, he wanted to take one of Duskstar's lives.

Duskstar sneered, listening to Stormcry's feeble squawling. He laughed, a low, booming sound. "You disgust me. I am the demon? Can't you see what I'm trying to do to my clan? To all clans? You just don't understand the depth of my plan! You'll understand one day, you'll all understand!" He swiped at Stormcry, aiming to catch his front legs and flip him onto the ground. The impact would shut him up for a while. Duskstar turned back to Marshflight, the fear in his eyes making the dark tom chuckle. "Don't worry, I'll take your life slowly and painfully, so you'll remember when you watch me destroy your very way of life right before your very eyes from Starclan." His voice was a sneering growl, enough to send shivers up one's spine and send kits running back to their mothers. He leapt at marshflight suddenly, flipping him over backwards and pinning his paws against his throat. He leaned over, smiling a joker smile at the deputy. "And once I'm done with you, I'll take that beautiful female of yours and destroy your beloved Sharpstar, the coward." His voice dripped with velvety poison, an evil unrivaled by any cat the forest had ever seen... or ever will see.

Marshflight
“Stormcry!” a slimmer of concern slipped to his gaze, the tom’s form skipping across the trampled ground as Duskstar struck, sending his body hard onto the dark soil with a twisted thud and he remained still; dazed possibly, as Marshflight could still see the faint rise and fall of his chest. His relief was short lived though as the sudden presence of words stiffened the hairs along the tom’s neck and back. His head swung away; attempting to dodge whatever attack might come his way, but his form was slow to follow and with a gurgling sound a lightning paw sent Marshflight round with a startled gasp as he was pulled onto his back. There was little time to do much else then let out another pained breath as the tom hit again; a huge paw striking and holding it’s self upon the younger cat’s throat.
A dull ache spread from the area and the predicament suddenly dawning on the deputy his form struggled madly. The other’s grip was too strong though, and his chances feel to ash as Duskstar’s second paw was added to the weight. The tom grinning and whispering the future that he would make sure would follow as the warrior below him slowly ceased his struggles, now only concentrating on trying to breathe; though that possibility was more or less gone now.
“Storm…cry” His voice was broken; Duskstar’s paws holding him firmly as he leered above him. The tom was already panting from the excursions of the previous battling, and his body and mind screamed for air as the substance was stolen from his gaping maw. His claws had flailed uselessly at the form above him; though now they grew heavy as a single rasping breath was drawn in; the burdens on his mangled throat now fully obscuring his airway as Marshflight’s body spasmed slightly; orbs once narrowed with anger now dimmed with the burning of his lungs and shoulder as the beginnings of darkness clouded his vision. His chest rose and fell rapidly, though no sound of breathing was emitted from his painful attempts.
Saliva was beginning to pool from his open maw; teeth though exposed lay unthreatening as the sprawled warrior slowly suffocated beneath the tyrant Leader. He couldn’t go out like this; his last moments spent unmoving and feeling the useless painful sucking of his life. He couldn’t. His head slopped back; pale orbs threatening to roll upwards at any moment as his paws, trembling, flew up against the other’s chest weakly; determined though his strength had already passed. He couldn’t go now, not with Duskstar still alive, and his clan in danger. He couldn’t leave Sharpstar and Nightpaw in danger. ‘That’s right…’ His mind whispered; the voice was disoriented and seemingly leaping from each word and jumbling through them all at the same time, but they made sense in Marshflight’s already prepared conscious. ‘Nightpaw…’ And unknowingly his trembling maw tried to pronounce the name, though it could only numbly moved with the slightest changes as his body willed him to simply fade away.
‘Nightpaw…I don’t want to leave her alone’ A sudden ache entered his chest; though his hazed mind couldn’t distinguish if it was from his oxygen deprived lungs or the thought of his beloved apprentice, friend, and…Was she more then that? He, felt something spark within him; and even the sight of the cat he felt nothing but anger towards could not deprive him from the emotion as it welled from his heart; sending his whole body alight with burning embers. ‘That’s right…I love Nightpaw. I love her’ His maw slipping into what could be called a smile; though with nothing left in him it could be taken any way, his eyes regarded the one who brought this upon him with a momentary expression; mockery. Darkness ensued and his whole form went limp; eyes dimming and closing as his paws slipped slowly from the dark tom’s chest; claws dragging uselessly through the battered fur. ‘I love her…And I won’t even see her become a warrior.’ As if a final act in a dramatic scene his head, features relaxed and now showing no such signs of aggression as before, slipped to the side. A small shimmer of dust floated from the soft contact as life seemingly left him. Leaving the forest in a heavy silence.
//OoC// Yeah he ain't dead XD Just wait till thy next post ^^

Stormcry
The huge tom, snarled stupidities at Stormdry as they tangled. The senior warrior could only growl, "Of course I can see, you kit. Destruction can always be seen, even the blind know when it's near - oof!" The dark Leader took a swipe at Stormcry's legs, and for all his speed, he hadn't been able to dodge that. The senior warrior fell just as the demon-cat turned on his Deputy. Fate seemed to feel very cruel at the moment, so Stormcry just happened to have a rock right under his head as he landed. There was the sound of a very solid 'thud' and Stormcry's world went fuzzy. Though his ears rang, he could still hear Marshflight struggling. "Marsh... flight... uhhhh..." The world swam and his eyes closed.

Duskstar snarled in satisfaction as Marshflight faded and Stormcry fell. Duskstar backed off the Shadowclan deputy, smiling in satisfaction. "Sleep well, kitty cat." He stopped suddenly, a slight bout of vertigo catching him. He staggered, his eyes tearing up. He looked at Stormcry and Marshflight, two innocent cats, warriors of their clans, full of life and pride slain by his madness. His heart clenched. Was this how it was? Would he always be a murderer? A demon to them? Or did this scene change that? Would he change? A sick grin twisted on his maw, his pitiful sadness gone. No, he'd always be like this. Ripping apart fagile lives before they could react and forcing all who aposed him into sick submission. "Yes, that is who I am..." His words barely a whisper to himself as he watched the two, as if waiting, as if frozen in that one moment that would define his entire life, or just one of them.
