Windpaw
oocll Did anyone take mai Windehzorz away from me? If so, >.< give her back. jk. o__o I missed you guys. ;3 We get these rules to follow, that and this, these and those.
The she-cat made her way down the incline, nearly stumbling, and grazing her face on a rugged rock. Her fur was muddy, and some strands stuck together, as if they feared coming apart. She was tired, and her eyes stung. Her pelt was ragged now, and she seemed unusually silent. She twitched her whiskers, smiling at the thought of being home for the first time in a few weeks. She sat on a flat stone, dipping slightly into the water. The edge of her paw touched the cold water and soothed it. She let out a sigh of relief. Windpaw began to lick at her mud ridden pelt, nibbling at it in certain spots.
A vaguely familiar smell washed over her, seemingly bringing her back to the real world. She had forgotten she was in WindClan Territory. She licked her torn paw pad, not bothering to cringe at the pain.

Bluefang stepped forward. Once again she returned to the spot of her memory - the cold flood of water suddenly chilling her fur, all the way down to the bone, and the brave apprentice that had saved her life. She know knew that she needed to smell for the water to make sure she didn't have to go through that again.
But, as she was sniffing, she looked up. She had smelled another cat. A WindClan apprentice. She concentrated at the spot for a minute, though the apprentice would think she was staring. She made out that this particular apprentice was grooming herself. And she sniffed deeper. It was Windpaw! Bluefang could smell blood. Was Windpaw hurt? Hm... This would be quite awkward for Windpaw...
"Hello, Windpaw! What are you up to?" Bluefang asked. She was hoping she could turn this awkward moment into a warm - figuratively - chat. It was pretty cold out here...

"Yes?" Windpaw croaked, whipping her head around to face Bluefang. Her eyelids became heavy with sleep, and she had to blink them a few times so she could see clearly. Her response was delayed."Nothing, I just came back from...'exploring'..." She had to think up a good lie, but that one just wouldn't do... The leaves entwined in the long strands of hair that adorned her gave her an idea.

Bluefang almost laughed. Well, not exactly laughed, but more of a chuckle. So she wasn't the only explorer in the clan. But as far as Bluefang knew, Windpaw could see and hear things just fine... If she could smell blood, Windpaw probably wasn't exploring. "Yes, exploring is fun. But what were you REALLY doing? Unless maybe you got attacked?" Bluefang half asked half stated.
She flicked her tail, and questioningly opened one eye just a bit wider, like a raising of the eyebrow. Her clouded eyes couldn't perceive the expression on the apprentices face, so it would be harder to tell a lie. But her hearing was keen. A waver in the voice would mean a possible lie, a touch of fear scent maybe... like fear that she may get caught... But that would be assuming that Windpaw did something wrong in the first place. Bluefang awaited a response. She wondered if a blank stare like hers might be slightly intimidating...

"Well.. Yeah, if you consider being ambushed twice an attack..." Windpaw rubbed her paw against her perch, and watched the blood color the flat rock. Windpaw scrutinized Bluefang as if she hadn't seen her before. She suddenly noticed her eyes were clouded, and the apprentice wasn't sure if she was blind. [x Ooc|| Invasion of teh muse snatchers.]]

Bluefang perked up with sudden interest. Exploring here would have to wait. "You should go back to camp, unless you are well enough to show me where this happened. Otherwise, you need to tell me and I will go to investigate." Bluefang said, almost spur of the moment. This is the first big Deputy moment she had had since she was named deputy... It had actually been pretty quiet. But this was important. She might want to get a couple of other warriors too... "Oh, and how many cats were there?" She asked suddenly. This seemed a little strange, but it would have to work.[/size]

Windpaw
I drift along the ocean. Dead lifeboats in the sun And come undone
Windpaw looked around, as if there was an excuse lying around. "2, including me, and I can't remember." She answered. "Secondly, I'm going to see if there are herbs that haven't died yet from the cold weather." Windpaw stood up, and forced herself up the incline. She prodded around, with her paws, inspecting every plant. An urge to just run off came over her, but she managed to withstand it, although she thought it over a few times. Staying near the incline, she continued to look around. Windpaw managed to find a few herbs, including catmint, but not much. She cut the plants off at the root, remembering that they could grow again. She poked around again, her eyes feeling heavy with sleepiness. Windpaw stretched herself out, opening her jaws wide in a yawn. In those brief seconds, she managed to take in all the scents of the Hidden Pond. The scent of the pond seemed to be the strongest, and she cringed whenever it seeped into her nose. She listened to the sound of birds singing, and looked into the sky to see them taking flight, to leave until New-leaf. Her green eyes widened with curiousity, and she imagined seeing through the eyes of the birds. But right now, it didn't matter.Windpaw let out a brief sigh, and walked around the pond, the "sleeping" grass crunching underfoot. She looked around, pausing occasionally to scent the air. All she could really scent was the smell of the pond, and it's contents, and her scent. She lied down, to lick her pelt, and nibble away at the debris, until it looked decent. Windpaw's thoughts trailed to her past. The day it snowed, and she experienced the sparkly white stillness, and the time she ticked off Kitepaw, whom she still hated. Her paws clenched the grass, and released it at the thought, although she continued to think about it. The time everyone though she had powers, although she didn't. She stood up, and shook off the thoughts, the cold air seeping through her slightly thinned pelt.
ooc; I'm gonna rp with Hazelzorz. Brb. ;D Windpaw; Peace...OUT! XD '

Bluefang had to resist the sudden urge she had to just leave. Just get up, and leave. No byes, no nothing. It was now so obvious that Windpaw was lying! But it was too late now. She felt like such an idiot, to fall into the trap of an apprentice... Yes, a medicine cat apprentice, but still and apprentice.
She narrowed her eyes. "Windpaw, I will be keeping an... ear up for you." Bluefang said. Keeping an eye out for her wouldn't do very much good, now would it? She would take night duty tonight. "I'll be leaving you here. I trust you can get back safely?" She said, eyes widening again. For an almost blind cat, she was doing pretty good with the facial expressions. Night was coming swiftly, which meant she had to get back soon, especially if she was going to keep watch.
