O my gosh. This is so my thing. My results would be a little bit of one and two, for example the dream that I had that the world exploded and I killed a giant space fish with a chopstick and a harpoon gun. This one symbolically came true, but it is a little embarrassing... Anyway, you answer this poll and then post explaining your answer and how it works, or an example. This is a nice conversation starter.

I picked the second and last choice, but there are two different other types of dreams I have, that are very similar. 1. An extremely random and stupid dream that makes sense while you're dreaming it, but then you wake up and you realise it doesn't make sense, isn't in the right order, etc... 2. A dream that you don't understand while you're dreaming, but then you wake up and realise what it was about. (A lot of the time, these are the dreams that come true.)
My mum was telling me a theory about people who see the future. Some people think that since we live in two paralell universes, we see things that have happened already in the other universe, but have yet to happen in ours. Thats pretty far-fetched, but still interesting if you ask me!

Wow, That IS interesting. I haven't really thought to talk to my parents about dreams, because they usually start a chat that sounds like some political debate.

I would've picked answer two, but I've only had about three of those, and besides, most of my dreams are pretty insane.
The most recent dream that's come true was one where my teacher had a pig that, when the tail was pulled, it squealed, and the next day she showed us the pig and pulled it's tail ._. It sort of freaked me out, since I didn't even know she had a stuffed pig ^^;
The last insane dream was last week (lol, they're very frequent, as you can imagine) and I was in my hous,e but everything was unnaturally dark. My brother and a friend of his broke into the house and started chasing me with this huge axe, and suddenly there was this weird crowd of people. I ran to my room, opened the door, let the crowd in (I have no idea how they all fit in my bedroom o-O) and shut the door in my brother's face. But since it doesn't lock, he kept trying to push his way in, and when he finally got in (though it was quite a while after I started getting tired. I seem to notice I have super-strength in my dreams) he handed me some Oklahoma Black Gold Special Dark Chocolate, which I absolutely love and have been wanting some ever since I had my first taste in 2008, and started saying, "Happy Valentine's... uh.. Day.. 'Yup.." in his mumbly, gruff-ish voice he always uses that's meant to annoy me.
Lol. That one actually kind of made sense, because I knew Valentine's Day was coming up. But most of them, or atleast half, don't make any sense at all ^^;

Ya... Somehow in my dreams I am always, like, super intelligent but I can't move very fast and am pretty weak. It's like the dream always gives you something, but takes something else away. Has anybody else ever noticed that? Except that fish dream. That one, I was dumber, but faster. I kept thinking 'Pointy objects hurt, throw pointy objects' Until I looked under my bed and found the harpoon gun. That was entertaining.

Wtf, Hifty. XD I've never had one of thoughs! Lolz. I usually have dreams that have a complicated storyline that includes my friends and I. They are usually Prophetic and mean something. Sadly, I only understand what it was trying to say AFTER it happens, usually. ;^;
I'm actually able to wake myself up aswell.
I was having this horrible week. The person I love was being home schooled now, and I could only see them on random, selected days. Everyone at my school was being even more brutal towards me than usual, and things weren't well in my home. I started having this dream about everything going right. That person was back at school with me, telling me everything was going to be alright, everyone just left me alone and my family was happy, but then, I actually broke through my dream with the thought, "Wait.... this is to happy....this is a dream, it isn't real." Then I popped awake and found myself on the couch, 2AM in the morning. Then I curled up and started crying. ;^;
Weird, right? I knew it wasn't real, so my mind woke itself up. XD

When I realise I'm in a dream I either, a) Wake up or b) Do whatever the hell I want.
A lot of my dreams come true, but not always how I expected. One of the most obvious ones was when I dreamt of a girl coming home and pulling a purple Charmed t-shirt out of her closet. And then the next day, my friend showed me her new shirt, which was exactly the same as the one in my dream.
And yus Hifty, sometimes in my dream I can't yell when I want to, and no matter how hard I try I can't run fast or where I want to go. It's torture, it truly is.

I had a stress dream the other night =/ I think you're missing that option in the poll though ^^
I dreamt I had a Mac with Firefox and that my parents told me to get off the computer but I really needed to do something super urgently because the head admin of another site (BRC) changed all the member name colours around or whatever but for some reason I couldn't get there because everytime I typed the URL and pressed enter it just brought me back to the home page (reminiscent of the apple store in NYC when the computers always rerouted you back the homepage x.x but they only did that for me, not for anyone else o.o everyone else could check their e-mail, but the ones I tried to use failed) and yeah. Then my dad was coming up the stairs and I was desperately trying to post but I COULDN'T.
Then I got in lots of trouble x___x

I didn't know you COULD have stress dreams....
And hazel, I think that the reason that we get so frustrated in dreams where we can't move or make noise is because we ARE human (most of us) and prefer free will.
