Morningpaw couldn't help but giggle as she romped with Larksong. Now this was odd for both the Warrior and Apprentice as neither were normal ones to be seen romping... But here they were romping together. She giggled playfully and batted right back at Larksong quite happily and of course with no claws.
Yet soon enough both the Warrior and Apprentice ended up tumbling right into the River from which they had pulled an impressive amount of fish for their Clan. Morningpaw yowled as she was dragged right into the cold water, but she would start thrashing and swimming as every RiverClan cat is taught to do pretty much from kithood. Sure she had gotten some water in her throat as she breathed in surprise when going down, but it wasn't much, and as soon as she got to the surface, it cleared.
She heard Larksong's call and she giggled a bit. "I'm here Larksong!" And with that she would swim over closer to the Warrior with a giggle before heading for the shore, climbing out, and shaking her fur out with another giggle. Her beautiful silky fur was now all bedraggled and wet, but her spirits were not diminished as she watched the Warrior with a bright grin.

OMYGOD. Did I really neglect this thread for this long? Dx *headdesk* So, so, so, sorry! I thought I posted! =O In that case, I'll try stirring up a short lil' reply... (muse for Larksong isn't working) larksong.♥ Larksong frantically twisted as she padded to stay afloat. Where is she? She wanted to cry it out loud just once more, but however badly, her vocal chords won't do it. Speechless. Scared that no reply will come.
"I'm here, Larksong!" came a giggle.
The she-cat whipped around to see a young apprentice, face embedded with a feline's grin. Larksong sighed, relief pouring in and calm flooding back into her veins.
She purred, "Thank StarClan you're alive," not caring to mention that Morningpaw was a RiverClan cat, after all. Who can beat RiverClan? The talent to swim maybe one of the best physical traits a cat can have, and that's what made RiverClan special.
Paddling around in the stream of water, Larksong turned to face the setting sun. A brushstroke seemed to paint the sky, first red, then yellow, pink...and then a magnificent, majestic purple, color of royalty, reflected upon the waters of the river.
The water chilled and stinged. "We better hurry back. Let's fetch the fish. You'll get a whitecough soon if we don't," Larksong mewed softly, showing no concern for her personal health. The senior warrior sniffed the air and gazed for a couple heartbeats at the gorgeous landscape.
Home. For once it really did feel like home, and not a place of constant burdens, reputations to keep, cats to respect, and clanmates to serve.
Then she swam steadily upstream, a speckled splotch slowly climbing up a wide river.
Her tail flicked to beckon Morningpaw to follow. It splashed water onto the apprentice instead.
"Whoops!" Larksong laughed, and then flicked an ear this time to say, "Come on," without words.
So many things are said without words. How many things can be said with words at all? Perhaps the number of things that can't be defined by such things are even more numerous than the ones that can... For some feelings, Larksong decided, are better left said silently, with the heart. She was speechless now, for sure. [/size][/blockquote] EDIT: nvmd...This post actually is long...Heh, heh...
