You know the one thing you’re fighting to hold Will be the one thing you’ve got to let go And when you feel the wall cannot be burned You’re gonna die to try what can’t be done The scent of the ShadowClanners was almost impossibly strong, here in the heart of their territory. Although Leiko, the loner, did not mind it. She supposed that she was used to it - the wind often blew the sharp scent to her home at the Old Motel. Leiko took a deep breath, and stepped into the ShadowClan camp, hyper-alert that her life could end at any second. Not that she would mind - she was here to ask that favour from the ShadowClan leader. The best gift any cat could give her - to join her Julian in the stars. Now, where was Fallensong, the injured warrior escorting her to her demise? "Fallensong?" she called quietly, hoping nobody killed her while the young warrior limped along behind Leiko.

Fallensong Fallensong entered camp behind Leiko, quietly but swiftly. Leiko, however, looked slightly lost. "Fallensong?" She heard the faint call. "I'm right here." She said. So now she's at the camp... What next? She thought. The chilly air shifted as a slight wind blew, and she shivered. Then she realized. 'I should take her to Echostar.' She thought, and quickly limped toward the leaders den.
"Come here" She ordered Leiko, with a swish of her tail. She headed toward the decaying stump that was the leaders den, calling out. "Echostar, I have a prisoner!" She called, to get the leaders attention. To think - she had only become a warrior the day before.[/color]

Echosong had been sitting around in her den. Pondering her situation. Cats dissapearing, the clan in array. She felt helpless, but had no clues. Her thoughts were interupted by a yowl.
A prisoner? But there had been no attack, nobody was panicking.... Even so she rose to her paws in a rush and leapt from her perch. Echosong saw Fallensong and a loner.
She cocked her head to the side in confusion. Echosong noted that neither was injured, no fight had taken place. So why the use of words?
Forgetting her confusion, Echosong strode forward. "Who is this, Fallensong?" She asked authoritatively. She continued to study the pair, her confusion gone.

Starlight I will be chasing a starlight Until the end of my life I don't know if it's worth it anymore "I'm right here," came Fallensong's relieving response. The injured cat limped past Leiko to a den. "Come here. Echostar, I have a prisoner!" Echostar? That must have been the Clan's leader - probably a ruthless tom, crushing all opposition under his huge paw... But then she saw the female cat hop up from a perch, and strode forward. "Who is this, Fallensong?" she demanded, studying Leiko and Fallensong. Leiko had enough of this. She stalked forward. "I'm Leiko. A loner. Do what you wish with me," she said calmly, hoping the leader would be as ferocious as the image she had conjured up in her head, and order her most elite warriors to tear Leiko to shreds. She slumped onto her haunches, waiting for the verdict.

Echosong let out a low his of outrage at the insolence of the loner. Of course, she would rather like to think that all loners were insolent. (will finish later)

(XD I'll entertain you guys while we're waiting... Remember guys, at least... I think the rule was 11 sentences? O.o Something like that. Small paragraphs, no one liners!)
Skyfire emerged from his den upon hearing Echostar's furious hiss. Though my eyesight is starting to fail, I can tell my hearing is improving, he thought mildly, padding toward the leader and warrior. He trieded not to sigh as he noticed that Fallensong was limping on her bad leg. He longed to help her somehow, but the damage was done. It was far too late to fix the tear now. Instead, he turned his attention to the strange she-cat haunched behind the ShadowClan warrior. Quietly, he slipped up beside the group, curiousity in his mismatched eyes. "Who is our company, Fallensong? Does she need my attention?" he mewed, unaware he had interupted Echostar. He carefully stepped forward to sniff the she-cat, whom he now recognized as a loner. There was nothing visably wrong, so he patiently stepped back.
