Greypaw </333 We Make the same Mistakes, && I take the Fall for You.
Greypaw yawned. The small Calico Female gazed forward lazily, Dark blue eyes glittering. The sun was just beginning to vanish behind the horizon, giving off a beautiful array of many colors. It painted the sky, the brilliance of it all almost sending shivers down her spine. Shaking turning away from the natural wonder, the apprentice made her way back toward camp. All was quiet and still, the birds settled in their nest as they quieted their young, soothing them to sleep. The Squirrels, mice, Voles, All curled up in their own homes, resting for another day of food gathering that they knew came much to soon.
A light breeze ruffled Greypaw's fur as she padded along, watching the trees wave their lovely branches through the sky, leaves swaying freely as they threatened to float away. She giggled playfully as a leaf managed to wriggle free from it's restraints, brushing across her flank as it was swept away. She slowly eased to a stop as she neared a small spot in the dirt, seeming to have been disturbed quite recently. Lightly brushing the dirt away, the earth beneath her light grey paws revealed a water Vole and a small fish; prey the She-cat had captured earlier.
Grasping the delectable pieces of prey in her mouth, Greypaw continued on her way, her paws seeming to drag more and more with every step she took. Finally, to her great relief, The RiverClan camp came into sight. Her sluggish movements now a bit more agile, she padded through the camp entrance, approaching the Fresh kill pile. A few articles of prey remained from the days food intake, and Greypaw felt proud to add her catch to the heap. She was determined to show how much she cared for her clan. Content with her days work, Greypaw sat, flicking her tail ever so slightly. I hope You Need this now 'cause I know I still DO!

Lichenfur was on sentry duty. The tom was stretched out at the entrance to the camp, not bothering to at least maintain a proper sitting position. It didn't matter, as cats were still out hunting and patrolling. This duty wasn't that important, so he did it with less than considerable care. Ever since Russetstone had been picked as the RiverClan deputy... the tom's thoughts trailed off and he tired to clear his head. It just wasn't fair. He had tried to distract himself with Leopardfur, but that hadn't worked. He had been so convinced that he was in love that there had been nothing waiting for him when he had left her. No love there, and on to the next she-cat. Life, for him, was simply one big cycle. Fight, hunt, flirt, mope and repeat. He was kind of proud of himself, seeing himself as a tough senior warrior who was respected by all. The tom perked up slightly as Greypaw hurried into camp. His lazy eyes followed her slim form as he darted towards the fresh-kill pile, laying down a few pieces of food. He eyed her thoughtfully. Well, she was rather young for him, but no matter. She was pretty, and Lichenfur wondered if she would be able to resist him if he came on to her. As he got to his paws, another voice began to buzz in the back of his skull. You're just doing this for the sake of having a she-cat... it said to him, and Lichenfur tried to shake it off. You don't really care, do you? it asked once more, and Lichenfur decided to ignore it as he padded towards Greypaw. He came up behind her, hopefully startling her. It was all in the technique, after all. Had to have perfect form. "Hey there," he drawled lazily, mind adding a 'babe' to the end of the sentence. He missed doing this. With Leopardfur, it had all been declarations of love and trust. It had stopped being fun. Though his kits were rather cute. Brindlekit the generous, Flaxkit the joker and Mosskit the brave. He pushed thoughts of them away from his mind. He knew just because he and Leopardfur weren't mates anymore it didn't make them not his kits, but he just didn't want to see them now. He was his own warrior, strong and independant. "Nice hunt," nodded Lichenfur, gesturing towards the pieces of prey that Greypaw had just put down. "What else are you good at?" his words were slightly suggestive, his tone more obviously suggestive. Lichenfur wondered vaguely if Greypaw would notice. Greypaw </333 We Make the same Mistakes, && I take the Fall for You.
Surprised, the Calico female spun around, landing lightly on her feet. She coughed, clearing her throat in embarrassment. She had almost sprung on a warrior! Nice work, Mouse Brain... She thought to herself, flicking her tail. "Hello, Lichenfur." She finished her greeting with a regretful laugh, light and fluttery. She looked over the Tom. He seemed relaxed enough, eyes lazily scanning over her from ear to tail tip. The colorful Female lowered her ears to a relaxed level. Watching his movements, Greypaw came to the conclusion that he was a fairly attractive cat. He had expressive features, and the way he held himself could almost make an infatuated She-cat think he was sent by StarClan himself. Greypaw wasn't THAT interested, but... He did seem like something she would consider, or at least look at from afar.
Letting her Bi-colored tail rest on the ground, the She-cat smiled. The Warrior had complimented her on her hunt, and she loved it. Greypaw had always strived for praise, feeling the need to prove herself more than other cats, considering her roots. Suddenly, as Lichenfur continued speaking, Greypaw shone red through her fur. What was that he had said? Had she heard right? Yes, she had heard him right, she was sure of it. Greypaw's mind whirled. What should she say? What could she say? Unable to find any other reply, the female mewed, "I can do a lot more than you'd think. Maybe I should show you some time." Her voice was coated in an unmask able, seductive tone. Realizing what she had just said, Greypaw took a deep breath, waiting to see what the Warrior's reply would be. I hope You Need this now 'cause I know I still DO!

Lazily, Lichenfur plopped himself down on the ground. The older warrior grinned at the surprise in her expression as he looked over the pretty she-cat. He pawed the ground, churning it under his paws as she blushed. His eyes began to twinkle merrily, pleased with the effect that he was having on this apprentice. Recently, he had become aware that some of his hair was greying every-so-slightly- ignoring the fact that he was a mottled grey tabby- at the tips. Though he was only fifty, not yet to be considered old, he still felt older. It was good to know that he was still a womanizer at heart. Greypaw's embarressment made him chuckle slightly. He checked her out again, green eyes notcing the lean-ness in her frame and her smooth thighs. Damn, he thought with a smirk. This one's worth the riskLichenfur barely managed to stop his jaw from dropping as Greypaw put on a seductive tone. What was she doing? She was far too young for that. She couldn't be older than nine- ten?- moons. He blinked rapidly and cocked his head, trying to make sure that he had heard her right. She had just invitied him to come see 'what else she could do'. That was the kind of thing that would get her captured by some random rogue and made to serve as his slave forever. Not that there were any male dominant rogues around who wanted an army of slaves, but that was somewhat beside the point. "Careful," the tom mewed huskily, voice warm. He stepped closer to her, so their muzzles almost touched. "You're just an apprentice," he warned her. "Think about it before you go through with it."There! Now no one could say he hadn't warned her. Lichenfur stepped back, eyes twinkling once more. "Though, you're awfully... good for an apprentice," he added in louder tones, so no one in the clearing thought he was up to no good. They would just see a strong warrior giving advice to a pretty apprentice. If she looked enamoured, they would just asume she had a puppy love crush on him, and they would chuckle. "Maybe we should... skip ahead to another aspect of your training?" Oh, damn, training. Crosspaw was going to kill him if he didn't take him out training soon. Lichenfur knew his apprentice wouldn't take his flirting with the ladies as an excuse. The sexy, sexy ladies. Greypaw </333 We Make the same Mistakes, && I take the Fall for You.
Noticing the look of shock on Lichenfur's face as she spoke, Greypaw wanted to rip her own tongue out. 'You idiot! Look what you did! The whole clan is going to think you are an easy...' Her thoughts were cut short when she noticed him in thought. 'Maybe....not...'she thought, a slight feeling of releif clouding over her dark blue eyes. Suddenly, she really wished she hadn't of said anything. Greypaw didn't want things to be awkward between them. What had she done now. "Exuse me for saying something like that, Lichenfur, I just..." She silenced herself as Lichenfur began to speak. She nodded, having to force herself to to instinctivly look down at her light, sooty grey paws. Noticing the twinkle in his eyes as he backed up, she was a tad bit glad she hadn't. Not being able to stiffle a genuine, yet quiet purr, Greypaw blushed. She squinted her eyes for a moment, hoping rd wouldn't show through her patchy, Calico fur. Her tail flicked as he continued. The apprentice's heart stopped mid-beat at his words, and began to patter a mile a minute. Other aspects of training? Stretching her eyes wide, she scanned him for any sign that he was kidding around, but there was none. All signs pointed to the fact that he was being serious, and deep down, Greypaw was glad. She really didn't know why, but she was. Giving Lichenfur a smile, she mewed, "I might enjoy that, and yes... I'll be very careful." Hoping she had said the right things, Greypaw stood there for a moment. Noticing the look Lichenfur had, she mewed, "You...probably need to get to something." I hope You Need this now 'cause I know I still DO!

For a moment, the large grey tabby was scared that he had thrown her off by his warning. But Greypaw recovered, and she seemed fine again. She had caught on to his last seductive comments and replied with her own, leaving Lichenfur astounded. For some reason, she was making him hot under his fur. Okay, well, it wasn't that hard ro figure out. She was a pretty she-cat, and he was a dare- dare he say it?- 'needy' tom. He couln't be expected to go on without a fix, could he? Silverstar would understand, if it ever came to that. Though when Greypaw brought up the something else that he had to, Lichenfur almost bit his tongue. Crosspaw was a fine apprentice, he didn't need anymore training. The tom had initiative and enthusiasm. Lichenfur would much rather spent his time with slender she-cats. He padded closer to her, resting his chin on the top of her head. His hot breath went down her neck. "If that's so..." Lichenfur mumbled huskily, heart pounding with the exhiliration. "Then maybe you should show me some time," he finished with a smirk. The tom stepped back from her, this time placing his muzzle on her shoulder. He moved along down, dragging his muzzle across her calico fur until it came to rest lightly on the back of her thighs. He blew out slightly, for a stimulating effect, before straightening up. "No, Greypaw, I don't see any ticks!" he said, loudly enough for anyone watching him to hear. The tom turned back to her, eyes unfathomable. Maybe this was going to work out after all. "I'd be happy to take you on," he told her seductively. "But, Greypaw- just be a hundred percent sure that this is what you want before you come to me, alright?"He winked at her, torn between padding away and staying with her. Though Lichenfur doubted that she could say no to him. That anyone could say no to him. He was, after all, pretty arrogant. And experienced. No, you can't forget his expertise in the area. He smirked lightly, taking a step back. Out from the window see her back drop silhouette, This blood on my hands is something I cannot forget,

Greypaw nodded slightly as Lichenfur spoke. She knew what she was getting into.... or, atleast, she thought she did. "I'm WAY more than a hundred percent sure, Lichenfur." she purred taughtingly, low enough so that she guessed Lichenfur had hardly heard it. Her dark blue eyes flickered, and her heart pattered. He had.... such a way with words. Lichenfur had caught her eyes since her second moon of training, and since then, she had watched from afar. Was this really happening? Yes, yes it was. Greypaw was happy, you might say. Very happy.
(Sorry for the short post. Writers block. >_<)
