I thought I'd start a thread about how we all discovered the first ITM. I'll start. I was just starting to read the first Warrior book in the New Prophecy series, Midnight, and I wanted to print myself a list of all the herbs the Medicine Cats use (for my own reference), and I Googled "Medicine Cat Herb List". I went through all the sites and the URL for ITM2 caught my eye. So I looked through a long list of herbs written by Riddlestar. I don't remember why, by I continued to search through the site and was very intrigued. Then I got on the cbox and started chatting with Moony and Silver (who was then Silverheart) and they were both so welcoming and helpful ;D so I came back and made my account! I became quickly addicted and made many friends unforgettable friends. Your turn!

Hm... I had just finished reading the first series of Warrior books and remembered seeing a Warriors roleplay somewhere on the internet. So I Googled Warriors Roleplay and this was one of the first things that came up. So I clicked on it, and made my first bio as Amberheart. It was about 200 words, and it sucked! I've come a long way :]

Okay.. SO.
My beginning I googled warrior cats rps, and this site was the first link I saw. I joined as 'windpaw' and made my FIRST bio, Riverpaw[Now riverfleet]. I made MANY great friends, and they all helped me become a better rper. At first I was bad at rp.

I had accidentaly typed the wrong thing. It came up with this and other rpgs. At the time, this was 3rd in the list. Came here and decided 'why not?'. So I set up my account and made riversong. Her bio was SUPER CRAPPY.
For those who don't remember, I joined as 'jamester56' and later changed to 'Riversong'

Oh my gosh, I can barely remember xD I was into this whole Warriors phase, so I was googling up roleplays like crazy to join. I only joined ones that seemed active and more literate than others, and ITM2 was great. Plus the admin peoplez seemed friendly So I joined, and made Duskpaw's bio, she was the first character I had on the site as the ThunderClan Medicine Cat Apprentice. My first bio was actually super long... ^^; And then I made all these great friends and now ITM3 is the only warriors roleplay I go on <33 Cuz it's like the only one I care about~

Huh...Let's see, and step back in time for a moment :3
So, I was at school and a classmate of mine was passing out these advertisements for Warriors Wonderland. I never joined until about a year later, whenat the time activity was (sadly) lower. My RP posts were really bad back then - just a paragraph, nothing more. But, like I said, activity was low. So, I started clicking affiliates. I was attracted by a sistersite, "ITM", and clicked on it. I think it was ITM2, since it wasn't too long ago. In any case, I found myself visiting it again and again, but was hesisitant to join until I thought, 'Well, what do you have to lose? The members seem awfully nice...' So, I registered and made Larksong - yup, that grumpy ol' warrior is my first ITM cat, alright. Anyway, I met Pounce, Windy, Eagleh, River and Snakey all there...It was wonderful. =D Not soon after, I made Smokepaw (I found out recently he was 'Stormpaw', but I didn't recall his name when I remade him xD) and the littermates Rockpaw & Drizzlepaw (whom I haven't remade yet, but I hope to). And now I'm here. Not too eventful, but it's still pretty interesting, huh?

Oh Snap. XD You guys have brought back the memories~ And I now shall tell you my long and semi-complicated story of how I found ITM<3 It was a dark and stormy night...! Ok, not really. It was actually during the summer, so it was flipping HOT.
But before we get into that story, we must first understand how I got into roleplaying and Warriors in general. Both me and my sister were born into our household with two cats; one mean and grouchy, the other loving and playful. The two were brothers, and we often spent time chasing them around the house and developing that loving bond as most people do with their pets. My sister and I were avid readers (as most, if not all roleplayers and Warrior lovers are), so when we found a not just a book, but (soon) an entire series about cats, we fell in love. My sister would go through the book in about three days (because we were younger, we were quite a bit slower at reading, though still the fastest readers for our age), and then pass it on to me for me to read.
It was after I came home from school one day that I found my sister talking to a friend about warriors (For then, I was still in elementary school, and my sister was in middle school, so she got out half an hour early). It turns out that they had both given book reports about "Into The Wild" at school, and they were bonding quickly. This is important because it was the very friend of my sister that opened the world of roleplaying up to me, through my sister.
A couple of months later, I found my sister working on a roleplay site; at first, I only asked her about it, and she only told me that she was making it with her friend. But after a while, I got more and more interested in what my sister was doing on that site and her constant typing, so I asked her to show me how it worked. My sister helped me register and create my first character (Rather impatiently, I might add). My original character was Silverpaw, and while I felt proud back then, I most certainly will never produce something of that quality again. Everyone was very nice about helping me along, and I learned a lot about roleplaying just from reading all the posts. Unfortunatly, I joined right as the site began to die, and for the next month or so, I was the only one actively posting or logging in. When my sister and her friend officially declared the site dead and shut it down to maintenance mode, I wasn't surprised, but still sad. It was a few weeks after this that one of our cats died, and my interest in Roleplaying fizzled and died.
In fact, I didn't even think about it until the following year. My sister had become even more protective about her personal space and what she did on the computer, so I hadn't even noticed she had joined another roleplay site until she was experimenting with the skins (One was bright orange, another a sickly yellow. Hard not to notice those colors). While my sister was in the bathroom, I quickly scribbled down the URL and gleefully joined. This site wasn't like the one my sister and her friend had built, though. There was a code for the biography, and a very strict set of rules, including post lengths and behaviors and activity. Back then, I didn't understand how codes worked, so I just flipped between windows, making sure to copy everything perfectly (Instead of asking some and looking like a noob...) My final product was a biography that had taken 2 and a half hours to write, was about 5x as large as my first Silverpaw bio (which isn't saying much, but it was still decent) and had completely drained me of muse. I waited patiently for the bio to be accepted, chatting the members while I waited (The site had over 100!). A week went by, and I started to ask around why it was taking so long. Another week flew past, and I was thoroughly upset that no one had bothered to accept it or at least tell me what was wrong with it. Finally, the head admin logged on, and I explained my situation to her. She went to check, and came back with the simple response of, "I don't know. You didn't use the code right or something. I won't accept it."
This, of course, wasn't a good enough explanation for me or my sister, so we began to press the admin to do more, to try and get it back or something. I worked long and hard on that, and I would not be told that she just wouldn't accept it without at least looking at it! The debate escalated into a full-blown argument between my sister and the admin, who was being uncooperative and rude. Our request seemed simple enough to me at the time, but the admin just refused to budge on the matter, and began saying awful things about my sister. Eventually, the admin banned her from the c-box. Furious, my sister took over my computer just long enough to type, "Oh yeah, banning me because I don't agree with you is real mature. Just saying." It became a flame war, and the admin then banned ME from the chatbox. Frustrated, I tried again for several days to reason with her and apologize for my sister's actions, but she would have none of it, and several times I logged on to the c-box and was instantly banned, without having said a word. Finally, she banned my IP address for good. I had no way to access the site, never had a chance to roleplay for the first time in almost a year and a half, everyone there hated me, and for what? A simple misunderstanding about coding. By the time I finally gave up, I hated that admin with a passion that surprised me. Her members were cowards who only stood by her side because she would ban anyone who didn't agree with her, or just said stupid things that didn't have anything to do with the conversation. The admin refused to listen any kind of reasoning, and was very self-centered and b**chy (if you excuse my language).
But I had loved roleplaying, and it became clearly evident when even though I refused to have anything to do with that admin or the site, I still hand wrote biographies and teasingly called our two new cats (For a grand total of three) warrior names like Cinderstar and Longpelt. And every once and a long while, I would try that old roleplay site with the bratty admin, just to see her reaction if I did manage to return. Once, my sister caught me trying the site again. Angry, she snapped, "Why don't you just look up a new roleplay site instead hanging around that awful one?"
In truth, the thought never occurred to me. At first, I was reluctant to follow her advice, fearing I would join a site that was dying and inactive, or would have people who didn't know how to roleplay, or even just spiteful members like the last one. I think, mostly, I feared that it would be too different, and I would have to learn a whole new way of roleplaying.
Instead, I found ITM. I remember lurking around the site for a long time, talking Moonsong between reading the rules and roleplays. By the end of the half an hour I spent exploring, it had won my respect, and I joined. I made my first character there; Silverheart, deputy of RiverClan (There had just been an activity check, and ITM had lost a lot of its original members, including a lot of the staff... if you want to get an idea of Silverheart's first bio, look up Ravenclaw's and half a sentence to everything.)
I was in love. Everyday, right when I got home from school, I would long on and chat, while replying to threads. I was there to help celebrate when Moonsong was promoted to an admin, and it was just me, Moonsong, and Riddlestar that one fateful day. We were talking about the low activity levels, and how they had lost so many staff members, how school was starting to get in the way, etc. Truly, it was just a situation of being in the right place at the right time; I noticed I had a new PM, and after since I rarely got PMs, I was instantly curious. Opening it, there was a short congratulation speech from Riddlestar as she announced me part of the admin team.
This is where the rest of you began to show up ;D As Riddlestar faded away, more members began flooding in, and it was suddenly just me and Moonsong acting as staff, then just me, the me, Kitt, and Whitefoot, then Kitt, Me, Whitefoot, Eagleh, and Snakey, back down to just Me, Snakey, and Eagleh. All the while, I was creating new characters, meeting new people, and just having an all around blast with this site that had became my home inside my home. I was devastated to see it die with Riddlestar's rage, but I'm so glad we managed to save scraps of it and some of the members through ITM 3 <3 So there is my ridiculously long story :3 Yay for happy endings!

it's kinda ironic, Silver, that your second site had a b**chy admin and then Riddle acted the same way. xD I wished I could have seen Riddle when she was nice (was she ever nice?) and stuff. ok, now for my long and heart wrenching story about how I found and helped save ITM.
I remember it like yesterday.....
I'd jsut started role-playing and frankly, I SUCKED. But I googled Warriros Role-Plays one day and ITM was the first thing that came up. To say I was in love with that placid blue skin and two lines of active memebrs wasan understatement. My first conversation was with Whitefoot, Windy and another memebr named Chapel- who left soon after. I made my first bio as Snakefang andit was very short. I was so excited to start role-playing for the first time I joined a thread called 'Destroyer of Worlds' with Windy, Whitefoot and Chapel. I played Snakefang as a loner, and in turn when Moony logged on, got a slight talking to. But Moony was nice and immediately looked at my bio, accepting it. I was so happy. Over the next few summer months and into my senior year I role-played on ITM, watching members come and go. My best friends were Whitefoot, Windy and Chapel. I hardly knew Silver. I was also good friends with Neko/Crane. Moony was very helpful when it came to my role-playing skills and I was the first person to answer Eagle when she first logged on, asking if the site was active. But then life caught up with me and I had to leave ITM behind.
I wrote a paper in English class about ITM that winter, about how total strangers can change your life. I was so moved by how nice the people on ITM were, I called them my sisters. I got an A on that paper. I was away from my love though for a very long time, only logging on again on Moony's last days and happily seeing Eagle, one of my best friends now, become an admin. But then I left again, life stealing me away.
When I met Riddle the first time i showered her with praise. This site had changed my life! It was amazing! But when I heard how mean she had been, especially to Eagle, I got angery. I eylled at her, told her to delete me when she threatened to, and in consiquience I think I was one of the reasons the site got deleted. Worried, Eagle and I pmed back and forth for a while, scared to loose our beloved site. But then a brilant idea came to me. Let's maek a new ITM! One that is ours and ours alone. At the time, I was replying to a thread so I told Eagle to make it, knowing she was a much better skin maker and rper then me. Eagle-sama was a great insperation to me.
Sadly, ITM3 was only a few days old when Riddle flipped her final biscut. Another memeber named Blue and I were online when it happened. I cried for a long time, but thankfully we had lots of the old memebrs emails. Together we helped rebuild the site you see today.
Unfortunately we didn't have enough time. We only got half the bios moved and some of the camps still dont have thier subboards- my fault ^-^'''. But at least we're all here, at least we're a family again and Riddle can never take that from us. No one can.
I LOVE YOU GUYS! x3
