Hello everyone, and welcome to Crane's list of 'dos and don'ts' for roleplaying cats. I'd hide if I were you ^-^
DO:- Remember, in Erin Hunter's series cats dipped their heads to each other as a sign of respect. Your cat should do it to.
- Twitch your whiskers or tail in amusement. Or purr. Cats can't laugh, or smile.
- Use the proper language. Not crap, mouse-dung. Not idiot, mouse-brain.
- Instead of goodbye, try using, "May StarClan light your path."
DON'T: Cats do not laugh or smile (as mentioned above). Chuckles are acceptable, but otherwise... Unless your cat is Superkitty or something, they won't be able to catch every bit of prey or win every fight.
Pretty basic so far. I'll add more things if I remember~ And the format is currently stuffing up... So, just pretend it's okay.

And don't forget! Cats meow, purr, hiss and use body language to communicate. There is no such things as English, Chinese, or Italian in their language. That means when you're RPing them, you're sort of translating their actions and mews into understandable human speech. So if your cat is thinking about a certain word and saying it has a good ring, that's okay, but not if he/she is thinking about parts of the word specifically
(example: if your cat charrie is thinking the word, 'gathering' and emphasizing the 'th' sound, that would be wrong. but if your cat is thinking, 'thunderclan' and emphasizing the 'thunder' part of the clan name, that's okay.)
It may be a bit confusing but you'll get the hang of it ;]
Oh, and Crane, feel free to delete my post after you're done reading
