A chill breeze carried scents from across the territory and whirled them together in a hodge-podge mixture that was lost on the young cat sitting at the base of an old tree. That breeze ruffled his already windblown fur and made what leaves that were left on the old tree rustle and lose a few more. One amber-brown leaf drifted past Bearpaw's nose. He couldn't help but swipe at it with an outstretched paw, his eyes wide at the fluttering movement, sort of like prey. The brown tabby smacked the leaf down into the grass with a satisfying 'thup', but quickly got bored with it and went back to looking at the grey sky, a clear sign of the colder days to come. The only sad thing about it was Bearpaw couldn't see the shapes between the clouds anymore, because most of the sky was just clouds.

Pantherpaw watched in annoyance as Bearpaw played with the leaf she'd knocked down. You see, the black she-cat was sitting on a low branch, a few tail-lengths off the ground. She was trying to scare Bearpaw by landing a leaf on his head. Even when she shook the entire branch, none of then hit him, and he ended up playing with them. Pantherpaw got bored easily. Her mentor Ghostwhisper was somewhere, probably plotting stuff with Spicestar. Pantherpaw was still proud that her mentor was Clan deputy! And when Pantherpaw got bored, her rebellious side kicked in and she felt the need to play pranks on other apprentices. It wasn't Bearpaw's fault, he was just sitting in a perfect position for her to drop stuff on him. Now it was time to rethink her plan - the branch Pantherpaw was sitting on was nearly out of leaves, and it wasn't like those were going to hurt Bearpaw anyway. So the lithe she-cat stretched up on her hind legs and batted down some acorns, hoping they'd hit Bearpaw's head.

Loudpaw was running through a meadow and saw his brother Bearpaw. He smiled at this as he ran up to him. He never saw Pantherpaw or the acorns that started to fall as he tackled his brother to the ground from behind. Loudpaw had been silent on this feet and disspaite his name of loudpaw. He could be silent when he wanted too. Loudpaw smile as he thought of all the times he got in to trouble because of the way he always ran away from camp without telling anyone. It was a funny thing to see other cats looking like their vains were ready to blow because they were so mad at him.
He nearly made an Elder have a heart attack once when he came back to camp from behind he. He had just said hi and she jumped at least a foot in the air before landing on her feet. He laugh his ass off that day. but other then that, he had a good life in WindClan. They Leader had prolonged his warrior nameing because of all the trouble he's gotten in to for the last moon or so. Just then Loudpaw felt something drop on his head "Huh, what was that" he said out loud. Then saw a acorn on the ground and looked up to see a black she cat with beautiful amber eye's. Her black pelt was just a beautiful too. Loudpaw has never seen a more beautiful cat in all of the four Clans. Crystal blue eye's looked in to amber ones as a small blush appeared on the dusty ginger tom.

The breeze moved in his favor once more and Bearpaw caught two that he knew well enough. Hearing the unnatural rustling in the tree, he knew it was more than the wind that bring both the leaves and the acorns down. At the same moment, he heard the running of an inexperienced apprentice who thought he was as stealthy as a ShadowClan cat. Bearpaw sighed and side-stepped both attackers. Loudpaw went stumbling to the ground, hard and to top it off an acorn landed squarely on his head. Glancing up at Pantherpaw above them, Bearpaw ignored her. He saw his brother blush at the older apprentice and couldn't help but smile. A crush already? They were still so young, but Loudpaw would always be Loudpaw.
Padding over to his ginger tabby brother, Bearpaw rubbed his head where the acorn had hit, mewing, "What'chya doing trying to tackle me? You only get hurt in the end." 'Yet you never learn,' he added silently, laughter in his vivid, green-blue eyes. He looked back up at Pantherpaw, thought better of it and started to climb up the old tree to meet her. He got to the top, to pop his head out, above the branches and to speak with her. "So, what are you doing up here, besides trying to hit me with stuff? I thought you'd have training today," he wondered out of pure curiousity.

Pantherpaw chuckled to herself as Loudpaw tried to tackle Bearpaw... And missed. He threw up a small cloud of dust as he went down, and Pantherpaw watched anxiously to make sure he was okay. Then, one of her acorns hit him on the head. Pantherpaw purred in amusement, especially at his slightly bewildered expression. But then Bearpaw was climbing the tree and scrambled up onto her branch. Uh-oh. "So, what are you doing up here, besides trying to hit me with stuff? I thought you'd have training today," said Bearpaw curiously. Pantherpaw chuckled again. "Apart from hitting you with stuff? Um... Hitting Loudpaw with stuff," Pantherpaw told him cheekily. "And I probably do have training. But Ghostwalker was doing something so I got bored and wandered out of camp. What about you?" Oh well, at least he wasn't going to push her out of the tree or anything like that - because that might actually hurt her. Even though she had pretty good balance, falling out of a tree still wasn't on top of her to-do list.

Loudpaw snapped out of his trance when he felt a paw on his head. He opend one eye to see it was his brother Bearpaw. A smile crossed the ginger toms face and giggled at what Bearpaw said. He liked when his brother was nice like this and with him rubbing Loudpaw's head. He had closed his eye's before seeing who it was. Loudpaw sighed as Bearpaw climbed the tree and looked at his brother with bright blue eye's. Loudpaw loved his brother like any other sibling would and hoped that he could alway have Bearpaw's trust forever.
He watched as Bearpaw talked with Pantherpaw. Loudpaw stayed where he was and looked at pantherpaw once more with a blush. He had a feeling that his brother knew about the crush that has just now started to form in Loudpaw for Pantherpaw. Loudpaw seem to feel shy around Pantherpaw. Nervous too and he didn't understand why for that matter. He'd asked his mother or father about this later. For right now, he had to at least say hello "H....Hi, P..Pan....Pantherpaw" he said to one of his denmates who he likes alot it seems. Loudpaw had said his hello in a whisper and he beileved that pantherpaw hadn't heard a word of it. Loudpaw stood up and walked over to the bace of the tree. He waited for his brother to come down with Pantherpaw. He wanted to go back to camp soon before anyone noticed he was gone. He was suppose to be doing something right now. Like cleaning out the Elder's nests and the nursery nests also.

Though he didn't quite like her answer, after all, that was his brother she'd been hitting with stuff, he guessed she was trying to be funny. "Well, then, I think we should all be going back to camp. We're doing no good here, for any cat or the Clan," he meowed. Even as he said that he couldn't help but want to stay there, his face in the wind. It was high enough up there that he could see ThunderClan's forest, RiverClan's river, and even ShadowClan's marsh across the Thunderpath. The voice of the air seemed to speak to him and yet, say nothing at all, a distant murmur.
The spell was broken as his brother's voice drifted up the tree's base, saying a shakey hello to Pantherpaw. Odd for Loudpaw, but Bearpaw knew why. Following his own advice, the dark tabby clambered down the tree trunk to meet his brother on the ground. He sat down, waiting for Pantherpaw. If they were going to get in trouble when they got home, he'd try to get most of the blame on himself. He didn't mind working.

Pantherpaw glanced down as Loudpaw's quiet voice carried to her on the wind. "Hey there, Loudpaw! Sorry about the acorn, that was aimed at Bearpaw," she apologized politely. She didn't really mean it... It was really funny... But still, it was the polite thing to do. Pantherpaw sighed as she watched Bearpaw climb down the tree, and supposed she'd better go too. If she'd learnt anything while playing with her brothers, it was that you got in less trouble if you did bad stuff as a group. Anyway, she'd probably be able to lay the blame on Bearpaw and Loudpaw. It was mean, yeah, but definitely better than cleaning out old-cat dirt. Why couldn't they do it themselves? Lazy! "What if we catch something? We can say we were hunting," suggested Pantherpaw. Showing off was fun, anyway. Especially if the results were edible!

Loudpaw looked at his brother and Pantherpaw as they climbed down. He couldn't help but look at pantherpaw with her smoot black coat. Then Loudpaw heard what she said and hunting sounded like a good idea "Yeah lets go hunting Bearpaw, that way we don't get in to much trouble and can use that as to why we weren't in the camp" he said happily. Loudpaw looked around the tree for prey. He might be an apprentice, but didn't mean he was bad at hunting. Matter of fact Hunting was his fave thing to do when out of camp.
Loudpaw quickly found a mouse and started to slowly stalk it. Crystal blue eye's flashed as he moved fast and killed the little thing with a bite to its neck. He showed what he caught to the other two apprentice's with a small smile. Loudpaw was trying to show off his skills to Pantherpaw. He put down the mouse and smile with a small blush as he found himself kind of close to her after his catch. Loudpaw has never felt like this and it felt a little strange. He looked at the sky to see a cat shaped cloud. Loudpaw then noticed that another cat was beside that one. It looked like it was a cat couple who were rubbing there muzzles together. He then saw next a heart shaped cloud that looked like it was going to break or something like that. But he didn't really care, but it was interesting to watch. Loudpaw turned back to the other two apprentice's with a small smile.

Snowpelt had been out for a small hunting trip herself when she heard some soft scuffling and meowing of young cats. She grinned slightly as she recognized them as a few of the WindClan apprentices. She would wander toward the tree, remaining silent and out of sight for the time being. Hanging from her jaws, she held a rabbit. She smiled warmly but wondered just what these apprentices were doing out here alone. Most of the time the Apprentices were supposed to be hunting and learning with their mentors, though spending some time with eachother was certainly good.
Snowpelt would watch them silently, not yet making her presence known. She noticed how Loudpaw kept glancing at Pantherpaw, who had finally come down from the tree, and she would smile slightly before moving fluidly out at the idea of hunting. She placed her rabbit gently down between her paws before speaking to the trio. "Good afternoon... Loudpaw, Bearpaw, Pantherpaw." She would nod gently to each of them in turn, offering a soft smile. "That was a wonderful catch Loudpaw." She would praise the young cat gently and smile to the others. "I hear a hunting trip is on the agenda for today, mind if I tag along?" Snowpelt was a younger Warrior, not so young, but younger... And yet she was respected by many in the Clan, being quite the motherly sort of cat to all. Yes, she asked for respect, but she also had a way of talking to cats that made them at ease with her, not treating even Apprentices as inferior to her.
She tilted her head a little as she would keep surveying the three young cats, that gentle nature never wavering. She didn't seem cross for them being out alone or talking or anything. Instead she wanted to take this moment for relationship building and a chance to assess their skills. She had no Apprentice of her own yet, so she often would check up on the other Apprentices around. She understood that food was scarce and time sacred, but so were the little ones... They didn't need barked at and shouted at for wasting time... They were little older than kits afterall. They should have high expectations, but not impossible ones. They shouldn't be able to slack off, but relaxing for a little bit was permissable by the young snowy she-cat.

Though Bearpaw agreed hunting might ease their punishments, if they got them, he still wasn't sure three mischievious apprentices out on their own was completely safe. A fox or a badger could come along and... he worried a lot. He never worried too much, just a lot. Bearpaw only sighed as his brother immediately rushed off at the suggestion to hunt, either to show off for Pantherpaw, or just because he was Loudpaw and Loudpaw always rushed into everything headfirst. Catching a scent on the air, Bearpaw nearly panicked until he recognized it as a warrior from his own Clan. Not a moment later, Snowpelt slid out from her hiding place to greet the three.
She complimented Loudpaw and even though it was Loudpaw who'd caught the mouse, Bearpaw felt himself fluff up with pride for his brother. Even as he did, Snowpelt asked if she could come along on their hunting trip. His heart leapt at the idea. If a warrior was with them, there was no way they could get in trouble. "Yeah, that'd be perfect!" He immediately jumped up and started to track a shrew, though the smell of distant herbs distracted him. He eventually found the lazy thing, sleeping in a sun-warmed spot. The kill seemed too easy and not heroic or warrior-like at all, but the Clan needed to be fed. He dispatched it quickly and brought it back to the rest of the group.
