Hmm...let's see...I'm listening to the trapped songs that stuck themselves inside my head. Bleh. So annoying. ><' Anyway, their names are... Because of You - Kelly Clarkson (such a sad song D;) A New Day Has Come - Celine Dion (the original is very peaceful) Break Away - Kelly Clarkson (quite motivating ;] ) Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton (my friend stuffed this one in my head D:) Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyed Peas (dunno how this one got there; i hate the lyrics but the beat is just stuck in my noggin like superglue warning: has sh** in it a lot) The Ebay Song - Weird Al Yankovic (this one's been in my head for over a year - oh, and it's hilarious!) Unwritten - Natasha Betingfield (i just <3 this song; all i need to say! xD) [/blockquote] There you go! Some songs just make their way inside my noggin when I don't want them to...some songs just do that, y'know?

...L arksong:.Pour out all your feelings that were safely tucked inside. Let go, please let go; Fly free, please fly free and sing a song full of feeling as beautiful as a lark .: As the old senior cat settled down to rethink her thoughts over, her fur was pricked up in fear and sorrow. Father...she thought as she relived her past through memories. I'm...so sorry...
The tortoiseshell sighed and layed down, her head on her paws, her eyes with a wistful look. She began to lick the naked patch of her pelt, her mind wondering around the past. Why is it so hard...for me?
Larksong pricked her ears at the sound of Flashpaw sighing. She turned her head toward the apprentice, gazing upon her with her deep oceanic-blue eyes. The apprentice appeared to be in deep thought and had sat down just a while ago. The senior warrior blink and tapped her tail on the ground, beckoning her.
"Flashpaw," she called, and layed her head down on her paws once more, remniscing of the past as she waited for the apprentice to come.
[ooc; sorry about the short post, heh heh...i didn't have much to build off of since flashpaw doesn't really do much actions and larksong is resting in her den ^^]

Flower maybe a mime, and Featherwhisker may have been a mime, but Crane is a roleplaying clown who eats cranes and feeds the Eagleh! (which is breaking the cbox rules - *gasp!*)

...L arksong:.Pour out all your feelings that were safely tucked inside. Let go, please let go; Fly free, please fly free and sing a song full of feeling as beautiful as a lark .: Ahh, the saltyness of the taste! The chewy flesh of the kill! Larksong was enjoying her meal so much she almost didn't hear what the young apprentice beside her was saying. She heard a 'Hm?' but couldn't remember much of what Flashpaw said after that. Well, much of the first sentence, that is. The apprentice was blabbering what seems like a million things at once.
"...dream...quitannoyreallyialsohavewonderthingdohappen...StarClan...greenpurple...orange...StarClanliveinground..."Larksong blinked and withdrawed herself from the gibberish by backing up a pawstep. The only key words she seemed to have heard were 'StarClan', 'Orange', 'Dream', and something about the ground.
As Flashpaw's mews halted to a stop, the senior warrior frantically swished her tail and almost shouted, "Now, now, no need to rush!" but before she knew it Flashpaw was talking again. Thankfully, she wasn't ambushing her in a mountain of meaningless blabber. Perhaps she had chosen the wrong cat to converse with...
"I'm sorry, sometimes when I start talking I don't stop for a while," Flashpaw mewed. She briefly looked down at her paws before raising her head to look back at the tortoiseshell.
Larksong sighed and laughed, "Well there's something interesting to brighten up my day!" she paused for a moment, surprised at what she had done. Laugh? Her, the dull, blank ol' warrior laughing? This was way beyond other people's expectations of her! The tortoiseshell gazed upon Flashpaw with her blue eyes and then calmly mewed, "Anyway, please remember to speak slower and not slur your mews. As an apprentice your job is to learn, so let me teach you something: if a cat doesn't know when to stop, whether it's talking, play-fighting, battling...whatever; then that feline is going to suffer some consequences, whether he/she expects it or not. Remember that, or learn that lesson the hard way." Larksong's expression didn't show it, but she was shuddering from a past experience she had. Her tail swished over a patch on her pelt where the fur had never grown back.
Visions raced through her mind. War...blood...a wicked tom...her father...a battle...pain...pain...going on...surpassing her limit...Father...Father... Her eyes filled up with fear. It's almost as if thinking about that...that horrible, terrible moment was just like living through it again...She had lost her father there, and lost her signature fur marking. She lost a part of herself no one would understand...She's been alone eversince.
The tortoiseshell shook her head. Another reason to die has come. Larksong looked over at Flashpaw with a sheepish look in her eyes. Sure, she can hide her face expressions well but her eyes always give it away. Always. No matter how much she tries, her close clanmates always know how she feels because they know where to look. The senior warrior looked away and mewed a little wistfully, "I'm sorry if I scared you, young apprentice." She looked back at Flashpaw and sighed, "I think I better be getting back to my den now. It is hot out here and I don't think I can stand it any longer."
She turned around and padded back to her homey den, her thoughts still lingering in her mind. Well there goes my good day! Larksong thought sarcastically. She stepped into the Warrior's Den, noticing that the bedding has recently been redone. She peered outside. A couple apprentices were reporting back to their mentors. She looked at Flashpaw.
Young cat, I beg you to don't make the same mistake as me.
