...L arksong:.Pour out all your feelings that were safely tucked inside. Let go, please let go; Fly free, please fly free and sing a song full of feeling as beautiful as a lark [/color] .: Licking the mud off her paw, Larksong stifled another sneeze and sighed. "Yes, the rain has been very unfriendly with me today," she thought outloud. She looked over at Rainstorm, whom's olive eyes were filled with concern.
"Larksong, are you -- are you alright? You sound like you need Smokestream's attention," the she-cat mewed.
The tortoiseshell swished her tail and narrowed her deep blue eyes at the sound of Rainstorm's tone. "You sound like my mother, Pebblenose," she mewed gruffly and snorted. "Oh, why StarClan take me soon!"
Her thoughts raced. Why, in just two seasons she'll become an elder! How boring life would be after she retires! If only her anscestors could allow her to go sooner.
But...but, perhaps this was her chance. Did getting sick mean that she might go to StarClan? Larksong felt remorseful at the thought of eagerly having her life taken away. Perhaps she should just risk her life...more often...for her clan? Is that the way to die noble? Larksong sheepishly - and unconsciously - looked down at her paws at the thought. Oh, how ashamed she should be! How guilty she felt!

I agree with ya', Windy! ;] I have it myself, but I'm way too lazy and I am good with the mouse - not a laptop D': (i'm on vacation) Text; Larksong~ Picture URL; thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumbimg_303/121978797349xSV5.jpg Sorry it's so small, but it's the best one I can find >< Do you think you can use it? Backround; www.hkoutdoors.com/images/stories/ne-new-territories/shalotung-stream.JPG Font; Hmm...How about Holiday Home? I think it really fits her since it looks complex at a distance, some parts being riduclously curly while other parts are flowing but if you break it down to the individual letters, numbers, etc. it looks much more simple. Color Tint; None, thanks; however, if the backround seems too dark feel free to tint it to make it brighter ^^ Anything Else? Nope - thankuu!!

...L arksong:.Pour out all your feelings that were safely tucked inside. Let go, please let go; Fly free, please fly free and sing a song full of feeling as beautiful as a lark [/color] .: The senior warrior sneezed and shook her tortoiseshell-colored fur, splattering water everywhere. She grunted and stifled a grumpy retort as she looked up, listening to Rainstorm answering her question.
The she-cat apparently looked like she was about to burst in laughter as she purred, "Well, I much prefer being out here in this storm than being cramped in a den." Larksong's face remained blank as usual, but in her mind she was very displeased.
Pfft! Is there something I did that I shouldn't? I think not! the tortoiseshell thought to herself, Sigh...Perhaps I'm overreacting as usual... She had always been this way, you see. Outside she may look dull and emotionless, but if you manage to see inside her heart, she really is a caring and moody cat whom's very loyal to her clan and just prefers to keep her feelings private. As she thought about what to say, Larksong swished her drenched tail upon the muddy riverbed and sighed, "Well I guess so...Sniff...But I am very disappointed with the - Achoo! - rain today, for...Sniff...I had woken up in wet bedding...Sniff...Today..." and then began to sneeze once more.
Growling grumpily, she layed down to rest, feeling her energy replenish once more. Her deep blue eyes gazed upon the rising river, so beautiful, yet so deadly...Without taking her eyes away, she softly mewed, "Someday I vow to cross that shining stream..."

...L arksong:.Pour out all your feelings that were safely tucked inside. Let go, please let go; Fly free, please fly free and sing a song full of feeling as beautiful as a lark [/color] .: Plit, plat, plit, plat... Larksong shook her head and swiped a paw at her ear. The rain was bothering her; utterly. The annoying sound of splattering droplets irked her more than the fact that she woke up in soaked bedding today.
Why me...?
She fluffed up her fur, only to have it brought down again by the plummeting droplets. The tortoiseshell sighed and flattening her ears, she sulked forward toward the river.
How come? Why, the river's rushing waters' sound is soothing, unlike the annoying and repetitive sound of rain. Lightning flashed. Thunder boomed. All these noises concealed the calming river's voice, making Larksong feel uncomfortable. The closer she got, the louder the noise became.
It's good to know when you are near it...
Taking a deep breath from the humid air, she padded forward a bit quicker. She had just began thinking, Why, the air tastes different today! when she had noticed two feline figurines ahead. Squinting to see clearer, she had noticed they where two fellow RiverClan warriors. Curious, she walked closer to them to inspect what was going on.
And I thought I was the only cat known to sneak outside the camp these days!
She pricked her ears and heard mewing, sounding soft and muffled by the thunderstorm.
It's thunderstorming already! Hmf! And it was just a gentle shower when I got outside! Surely ThunderClan cats must enjoy these...They are called ThunderClan, right?
"So do I." This mew was the loudest. It sounded clearer, and Larksong was able to reconise it. The senior warrior blink and padded forward to greet the she-cat and the other...who was it? Ah, yes, Cherynobltoxin.
Poor cat; Always bullied by her sister; such a long name...such an...awful - is it awful? Well, it does have a nice ring to it...But TOXIN...?
Shaking her head free of thoughts, she stepped up to the two and purred, "The rain is acting unfriendly with me today. How is it treating you?"

OOC; Nice roleplaying, guys! Windy, you've improved so much since I was last here ^^ It took me about five minutes to write this one up - it's a whopper for me xD (it happens when you have lotsa muse - for roleplaying that is, not for new characters xD) ...L arksong:.Pour out all your feelings that were safely tucked inside. Let go, please let go; Fly free, please fly free and sing a song as beautiful as a lark [/color] .: The senior warrior heaved herself up from her den and smiled, closing her eyes. A piece of grass pricked her nose, and - achoo! - she sneezed it off, then chuckled to herself, amused by her own reaction.
It's been too long, ol' Larksong, too long...
At last a day she found herself...happy. She padded toward the exit and poked her head out of the Warrior's den. The sound of rushing river, the usual scattered meows of clanmates, the delicious smell of the fresh-kill pile...everything seemed normal. The fresh-kill pile...Mmm...The scent was so strong she could almost taste it. She closed her eyes focusing on the smell of fish...her absolute favorate. The saltyness of the taste, the scent of water...water...She was thirsty, but hungry too. The tortoiseshell opened her eyes and blinked. A young RiverClan apprentice eating at the fresh-kill pile. The sound of birds happily chirping...happily. It seemed too good to be true. Yes, finally a day she felt truley happy.
But why? Larksong thought quizzically to herself. And quizzical was her mind indeed as she stepped out into the open, her head booming with a gazillion questions. It was one of those whimsical days when you just don't know why things happen, or why you feel a certain way.
As she walked slowly to the fresh-kill, she thought, I wonder how long I'll last...In just one or two more seasons I shall become an elder...Oh, may StarClan take me soon! Stumbling over a pebble because she wasn't looking, the she-cat shook her head and padded quickly to her destination.
Flashpaw had just finished chewing her mouse and sat up, wrapping her tail around her paws. She seemed to have not noticed her, so Larksong decided to give the young cat a nice, startling surprise.
"So, young apprentice, what are you thinking about today?" she purred.
The perfect start off to a conversation...I could definitely talk quite a bit about this one.
As she waited for an response, she carefully picked out a slim yet tasty - and slippery - silver fish and began to rip a piece of flesh off of it. Saliva seemed to have flooded her mouth. The salty taste of fish was just too good. She ate carefully and slowly, saving the best parts for last and making sure she was enjoying every bite of it to its fullest.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say I'm sorry about not coming online for such a long while. Really I do care about this site and I promise I'll never truley leave!
So many things have changed since I was inactive! Riddlestar (who I've never met) had taken down the original ITM (I still don't know why...), and the new one was created. I remember getting that email about it. ^^ Many new members joined, and many fellow RPers improved very much - especially you, Windy! ;D I don't know any of the newer people here, so I hope you guys would introduce yourselves to me sometime. ^_^ Anyway, I would just like to say I'm going to be roleplaying here more, and hopefully none of you have forgetten about me xD
I hope I'll get to RP with you guys more now; Thanks!

[LARKSONG] [sing your heart out; i beg you]
[GENDER!!] She-cat [CLAN!!] RiverClan [AGE!!] 48 moons [RANK!!] Senior Warrior
____________[LOOKS]
Oh great. xD So I really do have to remake her...
Alright, Larksong is a tortoiseshell she-cat with blue eyes that are of an ocean hue. She is full of scars, and a spot around her back was stripped of fur in a furious fight. She would look more calm, gentle and graceful and her eyes would look more serene if weren't for her quick uncontrollable temper. She is long-furred though her pelt is ever-so glossy and thick, and her paws are rather big and act as flipper whenever she's swimming. Her senses are - or should I say, were - alert, though they are failing due to her age. She has strong, sharp claws and fangs that are very acute and dangerous if you ever get her enraged. Because of that feature, she can look very intimidating to smaller and more inexperienced foes. However, she is rather gorgeous - from a distance, let me say, because her low tolerance and quick temper practically shatter all the beauty.
____________[PERSONA]
You can say that this old, cranky tortoiseshell has a rotten personality, but that just means that you are one of "them". What I mean by "them" are the group of cats that can't see what lies within her, and her inside voice in which is as beautiful as the song of a lark and practically the complete opposite of her outside self. She usually is quick tempered to most cats and has a low tolerance for mischief and the breaking of any rules - esspecially the warrior code. She's the type that's quick to conclusions and makes rather rash decisions and rarely thinks things out before making a move - well, she's learned her lessons by now, but still it's a part of her. She is a strict mentor to any cat, but having her is lucky, for she is an experienced senior warrior and isn't all that bad - it just takes her a while to warm up to someone, that's all. Probably rarely anyone except for very young apprentices and kits have witnessed Larksong's soft side. Once the old warrior starts to actually be even a bit more patient and caring about you, you know that you've finally one her respect and/or she's opened up to you. When on this softer side, though, Larksong can be even more defensive and aggressive for those she cares about - like her leader, for example, or her love. Often people may wonder why kits love her so much when obviously the other older cats don't. Some queens are reluctant to show her to her kits, but after the first visit she's always welcome after they see what good effect Larksong has on them. Perhaps it's because of Larksong's extreme desire to have kits herself. She dreams and yearns to find her true, perfect love and to raise her own family of kits as well as the other queens. However, she'll first need to learn how to control herself before any tom would ever fall for her.
____________[HISTORY]
Larksong's bloodline is full of pure RiverClan cats. This fact makes her less tolerant of the other clans, and rises her pride even more. She's always loved RiverClan high above all others, even after her first Gathering. It was her pride and spirit, and she would do anything to defend it as a loyal cat of RiverClan. Now, you may be wondering how her name came to be. It just happened to be that when she was born, she had a dark-brown-ish bird-shaped spot along her back. You can't see it now; where that spot was is stripped of fur due to an aggressive fight with an intruder. It was due to that and her musical cries at birth did her mother and father (arrg! i wish i still had her old bio - i'm sure i had their names there!) decided to name her Larkkit. She was the only surviving kit of their first litter, and the strongest, too. Later she had a new brother from her mother's second litter. Her mother died giving birth, so she cares much about him. She was the most superior apprentice at that time. She could fight better, hunt better and swim better than all of her denmates. She would've won more respect, though, if she hadn't boasted all about that. Her father died later alongside her one the same battle that stripped her fur from the bird-shaped patch. She's been even more less tolerant of everything eversince - except when kits were around, that is. They always cheer her up for reasons no one may ever know.
____________[IC]
Only if this is your first bio.
____________[FAMILY]
[mother] Can't remember. =( I'm pretty sure I included it in my original bio...I'll just make her up xD Okay, her name is Pebblenose and she's a tortoiseshell RiverClan she-cat with a pale grayish - pinkish nose and blue eyes. [father] Can't remember either xD Again, I'm sure I included it in my original bio. Can I make it up? Okay, let's say his name is Stormclaw and he's pale-gray with blue eyes. [siblings] CAN'T REMEMBER!!! I shall make him up... His name is...Smokepaw...yea, I'll go with that.
