[Curveclaw!!]
[to be bent or slightly crescent-shaped!!][tom!!]
[ShadowClan!!]
[55 moons!!]
[warrior!!]
____________[LOOKS]
A very plain cat be Curveclaw. His wispy black pelt makes his white chest and paws seem blinding, but the white is a bit useful. It helps break up his shape when hiding in shadow, although his sulpherous yellow-green eyes sort of defeat the purpose. His eyes are bright and bold against his stark pelt, making him stand out far more than would a dull-eyed cat at night. His head is quite round and his cheeks quite fluffy, giving him a slight plush look. However, when he gets his claws into you, you'll no longer think such things! Although his raily body wasn't built for it, Curveclaw is a durable fighter. No, I'm not saying he's an "amazing, swift, awesome, fast, cool fighter". To put it another way, he doesn't beat his opponents with skill, he conquers them with endurance. Since his thin, lanky body is really of no use in battle, he makes up for it with his strange determination and longevity in the fight. He tires slowly, but once he's been done in, he's really done in. It takes a substantial amount of time for him to rest and recover fully from wounds or exhaustion.
____________[PERSONA]
Despite being in the very Clan that are taken as sneaky brutes, Curveclaw is quite the gentleman. He is a cat of high morality, and is a bit of a sexist in a way. He will not attack she-cats or kits, nor an unprepared cat. His sweet, polite demeanor is discarded, however, when pitted against a fully capable tomcat. But other than these occasions he is very mild-mannered warrior. He never fails to use "sir" at the end of a sentence when talking to cats of high position. Even to females, he addresses them as "sir". He is not a whiner, but if he does complain, it is silently and to himself. He tries to be respectful, but sometimes he blusters out things that sound strange or offensive.. you know what I mean? When you say something that sounds perfectly fine, but once it actually settles in your mind you suddenly realize how inapproprite it is? That's how Curveclaw can be. However, he never loses his temper and rarely do things get on his nerve. Curveclaw's a very level-headed warrior, very sensible and reliable.
____________[HISTORY]
Just to start off, I would like to give the reason for Snowthroat giving Curveclaw his name. You see, the rest of her kits were named for their appearances, but since she took more time in naming Curveclaw, she began noticing his habits and body structure. He was always stretching and curling his body in shapes that only an exceptionally lithe and flexible cat could do, so she named him Curvekit, for his ability to curve his body for effortlessly.
Curveclaw was born in an almost lethally large litter of eight. He was last born, and from then on he was last in everything. His mother nearly died trying to give birth to him, the last kit. In the end, she brushed off death somehow and lived to take care of her abnormally large litter of kits. Maybe it was StarClan's will sayingfuu no beetch yu go get tem kits nammit RAAAAAR. Anywho, Curveclaw's siblings consisted of three brothers -Whitekit, Darkkit, Batkit - and four sisters - Ratkit, Shortkit, Longkit, Tinykit, Stripedkit. Just to keep their descriptions short, Whitekit, Batkit, Shortkit and Longkit all roughly resembled their mother, Snowthroat (black and white tuxedo cat with green eyes). The rest of the litter -Tinykit, Stripedkit, Darkkit, Ratkit -all looked very much like their father, Elmheart, who was a dark gray tabby. Anyway, enough with descriptions.
So, as Curveclaw grew older, he began to notice a pattern. he was last to suckle from Mother. Last to playfight with Dad. Last to get anything from the food pile. Last to become an apprentice. As a kit, he was a meek little fellow, and from his shyness and modesty was his politeness and mannerful personality developed. Being a fellow wise beyond his years, being last didn't really bother him much as he was quite mature at that time already. Oh, he still played and romped with his littermates (even though in battle games he was always the bad guy who was beaten) like a normal kit, he just had more developed opinions and behaviours.
So, he matured into an apprentice and was given a rather mediocre mentor. This mentor was brand-spankin new, with no experience what-so-ever, and didn't really seem to know how to train Curveclaw. All he really did was give some pointers and tell him stuff like "to catch a moust you must be quick, to catch a rabbit quiet" and such. But Curveclaw was intelligent enough toget by on few words, and managed to graduate to an warrior... last, of course. After that was the average life of a warrior. Fighting, serving, protecting, surviving, hunting. Unlike lots of the Clan cats, he has yet to find of lover, and yet to find the motivation or interest in finding a mate. He simply had little interest in the females or siring kits.
