____________[LOOKS]
Plain. Ordinary. So normal it's not even funny. Things like that give off a very...dull impression of Stumbleknot, but that is certainly not so, despite his looks. No stripes, no spots, no speckles, no dots. Just brown. Brown, brown, everywhere! Despite that, Stumbleknot doesn't seem to mind. Perhaps one of the most intriguing facts about him are his eyes. They are a soft, soft gold, brightened with illuminance around the irises, and beaming even brighter in the darkest of nights. That, of course, won't be a very good thing when stalking, although it is a very dashing trait. Maybe that's one of the only outside things that reflect his inner self. Stumbleknot's paws are of worth noting too. His feet are a big and mighty kind, and that's one of the first things you'll notice about him, other than his plain, plain fur and blinding eyes. Those paws would be the other only physical trait that doesn't contradict his personality. They hold lots of power, those paws, and provide a good grip with the claws it holds. The pads of his feet are a bit rougher than most, making them highly suitable for rocky terrain, only more to say about Stumbleknot's hidden not-plainness.
____________[PERSONA]
Oddly, Stumbleknot is a very popular warrior, if not a bit out-of-the-ordinary. He tends to be quite oblivious to many things (like Duskstar's umbragousness) and rather mellow at times, but when the time calls for it, he can be as rock-solid as diamonds and metal. Hardworking and humble, Stumbleknot has always been one to look up to, but of course he's not perfect. Sometimes being oblivious is good, but more often than not, it isn't. So, don't ask him to pick at ticks. And he won't do a good medicine cat either, if he overlooks too many wounds. Stumblepaw can also be credulous at times, making him an easy target for frauds and hypocrites, but no matter what, he is still a humble, noble warrior. Oh yes - and another note: no matter what you do, do not - I repeat, do not! - do not, ever, extremely anger him! Sure he may seem kind and even-tempered, but if you've got the stuff to get him enraged...Well, let's just say things are not going to be pretty. He is keen when it comes to fearsome fighting, y'know...
____________[HISTORY]
Stumbleknot has a rather...interesting past. Many cats teased him about his kittenhood, and how shy and hidden he often was. But mostly, they talk about his first few pawsteps into the world. He was brown, but at that time a bit of darker brown, and he camoflauged with the den. But not only because of his coat color, but because he had already stumbled and rolled, collecting dirt, to the far other side of his littermate. His mother once confessed, "When I gave birth to may first litter, I knew there were three, but I found all but one! Harekit stood out in his white pelt, and Stripekit was easily spotted next to him. But, oh StarClan, Stumblekit was no where to be seen! We found him, minutes later, in the corner, blended in perfectly with the den walls, but that was only because his mews were the loudest of all." Clearly noticing his quickly developing mobility skills, and the funny way he moved along, she named him Stumblekit. Now, we all know that apprenticeship is one of the most amazing and memorable moments of any cat's life. Stumbleknot's was amazing and memorable, but in a rather unpleasant way. The minute he was named 'Stumblepaw' half the cats (mostly former denmates) burst out laughing. Even some warriors let out an amused mrrow chortle. This moment is remembered in not only Stumbleknot's, but all the cats who were there's minds. It took moons of persistant hard work for Stumbleknot to reach a high-enough-rank to recieve some respect, but in the process, he toughened up as well. His mentor was impressed, parents proud, and denmates were looking up to him in awe. When the warrior ceremony came, the ever-so-amazing Midnightstar granted him the witty name, Stumbleknot. Whether cats interpret it as Stumble-not (as in one not to stumble) or Stumbleknot (as in relation to the time when he untangled a stretch of thorny vines of a friend), he is still a noble warrior.
