She listened quietly to his words. Yet as he began to ask questions, she started shifting her paws uneasily. Dang... He couldn't have a clue could he? She shivered a little, and wouldn't meet his eyes, unable to answer at first... Until he spoke of having her heart broken. She would shake her head a little. "Not in so many words..." Small tremble, but she watched his paws until she heard him start to confess. She felt her heart go out to him. Poor cat... She listened intently as he spoke, and nodded slowly. She shook her head slightly and moved closer in silence. She listened to him start to try to defend himself and she shook her head slightly but let him finish before she would speak. "The Clan trusts you Ravenscar... They would never think you unloyal for that..." She felt as though a rock dropped into the pit of her stomach. Good job Snowpelt you were doing close to the same thing... But soon she looked to him surprised.
"I trust you too Ravenscar..." She spoke softly, admitting it to him at the same time as herself. She glanced off for a moment and nodded. "You bore your heart to me... I feel I need to do the same..." She glanced off. "I've never told anyone this... No one in our Clan knows... But..." She swiped her tongue over her whiskers quickly. "I... I have a brother in another Clan..." She glanced down. "Sharpstar of ShadowClan is my brother..." She murmered softly, trembling a bit.

Snowpelt had to confess... She hadn't spent a lot of time around Ravenscar... Heck she didn't often spend a lot of time around any cats... She was always the quiet onlooker... The constantly vigillant watcher... She dipped her head a little and nodded, remaining silent for the time being. Though as he spoke, her ears sprang up, eyes widening a little bit. He understood? Did he know? But as she heard him speak, she relaxed slowly, nodding a bit in response. "Y-yes... I know how you must feel." She did wonder who he might be talking about, but it was none of her business... Yet... She understood the need for secrecy... She had a fair one herself... But what if... What if she didn't have to keep it... She didn't know Ravenscar as well as she would like, but already in these few minutes she felt the possibility of trust...
She laughed inwardly at herself. What was she doing... She didn't get this far by opening up all her secrets, how could she start now... But she nodded slowly, her gaze rising back to meet his eyes again. She found a somewhat intenseness in his eyes as if he were thinking of something... She glanced away, but gave a slight smile. And yet as she heard his words, she looked at him in confusion. "Feel like what Ravenscar?" She hadn't exactly understood his question. She had no one chasing her as far as she knew... She was usually too quiet and aloof for that. "Feel like I have close friends in other Clans?" She was rather confused about his question.

Snowpelt's heart was heavy... But it was never too heavy for her to help one of her Clanmates as best she could. She held her head high trying not to think of her brother while she watched the form of her Clanmate come closer. The rain pounded at the ground around them, but it was well... Soothing even. She would move her gaze back to his listening quietly to the words that came forth from the tom. She nodded slowly as she heard his opening statement... Poor cat...
The words just flooded off his tongue, faster than the rain that poured around them. She listened quietly and dipped her head some in a thoughtfull manner before answering. Her tone was soft... Serene even. "They can be difficult Ravenscar... But the reason they are so difficult is that you havn't found the right one..." just like me.... Her own thoughts would go unspoken. Snowpelt hadn't had any luck with the toms either, which was odd... The snowy she cat was gentle... Kind... Quiet... Loyal... Steadfast... But no tom seemed to want her. She was young yet, so this didn't trouble her much.
"Once you find the correct she-cat... It will all fall into place... It will all... Well most of it will make sense... It will still be hard... But she will help you instead of drag you down..." Those gentle blue eyes met his with a seriousness in them. She nodded. "I understand what you mean... And I also understand that this she-cat... She's is out there waiting for you." She would allow her tail tip to touch his shoulder gently as he sat beside her. Her head dropped a little. "Sorry about earlier..." She felt the need to appologize, as she had ran off right after her meeting with Spicestar. She had been confused and hurt that they weren't running to the aid of Sharpstar... Even though she had little clue of the trouble he was in.

Another presence made her way through the woods that day. Tail whipped to and fro as she felt very angsty and nervous about the upcoming dangers. A quick shake would be given to her nervously fluffed out pelt. What would happen if all this went badly? It was no secret that ShadowClan was fierce and strong... Yes... They had the aid of RiverClan as well... But still... And then there was the morality of it all. Tumblestep felt that this was all wrong... They shouldn't be trying to take anyone's territory...
She sighed slightly. Sharing RiverClan's territory had helped her Clan... But still... It wasn't right. Four Clans, four seperate territories... That was how it had always been and that was how it was supposed to be. She sighed again. She figured that a nice hunt would help her out and clear her head... But alas it didn't. She was still as confused and as lost as ever. But suddenly a movement caught her eye. A tiny mouse... Fatigued by the heat. She dropped into a hunter's crouch, moving quietly as she could... Which was difficult with those huge paws of hers... But with a rapid bound and an even quicker bite, she dispatched the small creature and would pick it up quietly. She rose her head only to meet gaze with another of her Clanmates.
At first this startled the young Warrior and made her drop her catch, but as it clicked who this was, she would breathe a sigh of relief. "Good day Mountainpelt... Everything going alright with you?" She briefly wondered if she was as nervous about all this as she was... She realized that she hadn't exactly spoken with anyone about this... Not really anyway.

Snowpelt sighed as she felt an odd peace fall over her... It could only be from her beloved ancestors... She dropped her head slightly and nodded in understanding, though she still quaked with nerves. She was so focused that she did not hear the other cat above her at first, her thoughts only on her brother and his Clan... This didn't make sense. There were four Clans, four territories, and it was how it always must be... She sighed slightly and looked around as she sat there beneath the tree.
Yet a voice suddenly jerked her out of her reverie. Ravenscar... She casted her gaze upward into the tree, seeing her fellow Clanmate. She managed a small smile, glancing down and shaking her head as she heard his question... What was she doing here... "Nothing really... Taking a moment to relax is all." Lies... All lies... She looked up to him. "This is a wonderful place to think... How about yourself? What brings you to this ancient tree?"

It had been an absolutely lovely day... Yea right. Snowpelt was all tied in knots. Her talk with Spicestar hadn't gone how she hoped... She didn't know what was happening to her brother, he had missed their planned meeting the night before... Something terrible must be happening! And she couldn't do a thing about it. Her brother could die... Sure it would take nine times to completely kill him... But still. That was right... Her brother was the Leader of ShadowClan... This made her heart swell with pride. but it also caused fear to course through her. He had to make the decisions that would affect the fate of his Clan... And she couldn't even be there to completely support him... She knew she would never survive in ShadowClan anyway... But it still upset her something fierce.
Her paws carried her, seemingly aimlessly, toward The Old Tree. It was always a nice place to think... And today seemed like a good day for it... Little did she notice, however, her fur was getting soaked. But she didn't care... It was raining but she was fine with that. Soon enough she saw the Tree... She smiled slightly and moved toward it, looking around for a moment before she sat down underneath it. She was rather oblivious to the fact that she wasn't alone... "Oh Sharpstar... Please be alright... StarClan please protect him..." She murmered softly as she gazed off and up into the stars. "Watch over him for the danger coming..."

Snowpelt padded back and forth, anxiousness in her eyes. How could she betray her brother by letting her Clan know... How could she tell anyone about... Their secret. Up until this point, only she and he knew of the secret they held... They were kin and only she was in the Clan to which she was born... But how could she ignore the fear he felt when they last spoke? If she could do something, she had to... Didn't she? But what could she do...
Who would listen to her, after all? She had no extrordinary attatchments to StarClan... She was no Medicine cat... Even though with her serene and gentle nature, she was often mistaked for one. But she had no real connections outside of those all Warriors had. She shook her head a little and paced anxiously. Before long, she looked up, hearing the paddings of paws, and before she knew it, Spicestar was before her.
She dipped her head slightly and spoke gently to him, showing respect for him in hight quantity. "Good day Spicestar... I hope it finds you well?" She listened to him and trembled just a little as she heard him ask if she wax anxious. "It's no problem... I understand the need for sleep." She nodded and then shook, lowering her head a little as she tried to think of how to approach this. "I... I think ShadowClan is in danger... I fear for them Spicestar... I don't know if we can do anything about it... But I fear that peril for them is much closer..." She couldn't say how, and the Warrioress was being vague on purpose... She had to see how much information she could give her Leader without betraying her one secret from him.

Not long after Duskstar, his daughter, and Stumbleknot had arrived, another familiar small presence made herself known. Tumblestep... Fur askew and eyes bright. She wasn't eager for a fight... But she did find herself longing for her Leader's approval, no matter how... Blood thirsty and how badly this fight could go for either party. ShadowClan hadn't done anything to them as far as she knew, but when Duskstar was made Leader, they all vowed to follow him forever... And so had she.
She allowed her bright eyes to scan the small gathering of cats, unable to help the strike of fear that darted through her. What if the rest of the Clan didn't heed his call... What if they were the only cats there... But she would banish the fear in her eyes and pad over to her Leader and Deputy, and the Leader's daughter, head held hight. "Tumblestep reporting for duty sir." She was tiny, but time and time again she had proved that she was one fierce little cat.

Tumblestep flicked her ears forward as she listened to Rosethorn. She had found that she respected and admired this she-cat beyond belief. After Solarwind passed, Tumblestep had sort of seen her as a second mentor, even if she was ready to be promoted to Warrior. She shivered slightly as she heard the words coming from the older she-cat's mouth. Shrubwhisker was to meet Duskstar in his den? Odd... "StarClan watch out for him..." She breathed softly as she looked after the cat she felt her love go out to.
They were an odd match, he and she... But they seemed to fit together... At least she felt they did. There was nothing truly official about them, but it was almost as if there might as well be... The small she-cat moved a few paces toward the gathering of cats, bristling a little as she caught the scent of a new cat that she hadn't smelled before. "Tresspasser... What are they doing..." She murmered to Rosethorn, hardly even loud enough for her to hear. But she shook her head, feeling her tail tip against her back. She dropped her head for a moment before turning to nuzzle her gently. "Thank you Rosethorn..." She fixed her with those usually life filled eyes... Though now they were full of worry and anxiousness.

It was to be sure, Dreamcloud wasn't the only one... ShadowClan had earned a bad rap... And rightly so... ShadowClan had always been full of blood thirsty and power hungry cats, and yet somehow StarClan held some sense of humor and the roles reversed... The world turned on it's nose, and all wasn't how it usually was. He hated war... But it was necessary for protecting what they had it seemed...
He would release the cats that gathered, knowing the two that he asked to guard would guard well tonight. He didn't know all of his cats as well as he would like, but he knew most of them well enough. He knew of Dreamcloud's dead eye, but he also knew she was still strong and fit for battle, she could get around her weaknesses. He nodded as Dreamcloud mewed in response, and he would start off to help the cats fortify the camp.
But he found himself stalled by Dreamcloud, and his ears perked up, his body holding it's normal regal position as she approached. He would dip his head only slightly to indicate she may speak. "Yes Dreamcloud?" His voice was stern, but not unkind... He would listen to her, watching her movements quietly. He wasn't a haughty Leader... He would gladdly listen to the words of his Clanmates. He had to lead, but a good leader tood advice from wherever he could get it... As long as it was good and sound. He listened to her words, not allowing his gaze to stray to her lifeless eye. But he nodded as she spoke and smiled warmly at her. "Dreamcloud... You do the Clan a service by guarding the gamp and guarding those that cannot guard themselves... I fear this time the fight may come right here. But you will have your chance in the battlefield. I would be honored to have you fighting at my side."
He nodded slowly after he spoke, his tail swaying slightly as he granted her request, before awaiting to see if she had anything else to say.

Snowpelt... A snowy white, gentle Warrior found herself pacing the Clearing of the camp of her beloveds. The loyal WindClan cat was terrified for one cat outside her Clan... For she held a secret that was unknown to many, if not most. She held kin in another Clan. This was true. Her kin... Sharpstar of ShadowClan, was terrified and lost. He wouldn't show that to his Clan, but he confided such in his sister. For he knew such secrets were safe in her tranquil mind.
Snowpelt didn't have an Apprentice, so she spent her days hunting and patrolling, and sneaking around just a little so that she could converse with her brother. And thus a terror plagued her. Her brother was living in dark times. A war with ThunderClan and RiverClan was looming, and how little time they had... Little did they know. But she knew that Sharpstar had been preparing and making his camp as safe as he could. But would it be enough... Could her beloved brother and his Clan be defeted by their enemies?
Snowpelt was put at an unease. She paced the Camp's Clearing, eyes snapping with fear, and paws itching to run to his aid. She couldn't allow her beloved brother to be harmed... His Clan... Though they were not always friends with her own... THey were all family in her eyes. She cringed as she continued to pace, before finally moving toward her Leader's den... Could she betray some confidance to help her brother stay alive? How much did Spicestar know about the upcoming war between the other three Clans? How could WindClan stand by while ShadowClan got ganged up on...
There had to be four Clans of the Forest. It was the will of StarClan themselves... She casted a glance heavenward and murmered softly to herself. "Oh StarClan help them... You know that this cannot happen... ShadowClan can not stand up alone to the fierceness of ThunderClan and RiverClan combined..." She shook her head. She had no concrete knowledge, only the fears that her brother had confided in her. How could she betray that... But how could she stand by and let his fears be realized?
Her pawsteps took her to loiter at the entrance to Spicestar's den... Perhaps she would accidentally run into him... Perhaps it would all flow out like a river... Perhaps WindClan could help them... Perhaps they couldn't... All these thoughts rattled through her mind, but what could she do but try... And yet how could she betray his confidance... All this was almost too much for the serene she-cat, though if someone saw this cat so agitated, it wasn't likely they could leave her alone as it was so far out of her normal actions... But that was left to be seen.

Morningpaw perked up her ears from where she lay in the Apprentice Den. She hadn't been feeling well lately, though if it were from nerves or what, it was unclear. She trembled all over and had the tiniest cough, but that wasn't the main thing on her mind. She was terrified. And she didn't feel this was right in the least. The tales of how terrible ShadowClan were poisoned her mind, and yet her heart yowled differently. RiverClan was doing wrong. They were banding with ThunderClan and attacking another for what? Empty reasons bounced around the young Apprentice's mind.
But, upon hearing the summons from her Leader, she would pull herself out of the den and bound out, showing her youthful energy. Not the unfocused energy of a kit, but the strong sure energy of a cat many moons beyond herself. She would glance over the cats around her, herself being the smallest by far, and move over to stand near Larksong and Smokepaw, none of her previous trembling being shown, but only the calmness that always seemed to radiate from the Apprentice.
She glanced around, seeking her Mentor but not finding him for the time being, but fining Larksong was just fine for her. She would dip her head in greeting to the cat she seemed to have come to a wonderful understanding, perhaps even a friendship, with, and then fell silent to watch their Leader and await what he had to tell them... Even though she was pretty certain she already knew.

Tumblestep had been out hunting when the Clan meeting was called. She was troubled as she often had been lately. This wasn't right. Sure the peace between RiverClan and the sharing of prey made things easier, but she wouldn't step paw over there... It wasn't right, it was all wrong. This wasn't how the Clans were to live. They were to live each to their own territory living and defending their borders, not trying to take the entire forest for themselves. She hissed slightly to herself past the three rabbits clutched in her jaws as she bounded into the camp.
The first thing that caught her gaze was the breaking up of the bunch of cats. She cringed inwardly. great... I missed another meeting... she thought to herself, as this had not been the first meeting she missed... And yet it was likely good she did miss it, for she would likely have been one to speak up and suffer said consequences. Well she would bound in and drop her catch before moving toward Rosethorn, hoping to be looked over by their Leader.
She looked around for Shrubwhisker, finding him and wincing as he moved toward Duskstar. What was he doing... But she would mew a hello to Rosethorn as she got closer. "Rosethorn... Good day, what is going on..." She looked around with anxious eyes as she surveyed the gathered cats. "I missed another one didn't I..." She cringed a little, feeling very uncertain and out of the loop.
