There was another that couldn't quite stand the celebrations of their Clan... Goodness this was odd for a little Apprentice. Usually whatever thrilled most of their Clan thrilled them! But no... To little Morningpaw, this was all wrong. The whole battle, everything. Why were they trying to take ShadowClan's territory? Hadn't she been taught that there needed to be four Clans in the forest to keep things the way they were supposed to be? Wasn't she taught to respect StarClan's wishes? Didn't StarClan wish things to continue the way they meant them to? And yet Riverstar and Cranefeather said they should take ShadowClan's land and even WindClan's if it came to that... They said that RiverClan and ThunderClan should rule the forest... And that we should all join as one Clan. They said that ShadowClan was not willing... That they were bad. But she saw Sharpstar... He didn't seem all that bad to her. As far as she could see, he only wanted to protect his Clan and his lands... Right?
Morningpaw sighed as she wandered off from Camp. Unknowingly her paws carried her toward the river and Larksong. As she was growing up, Larksong seemed to be one of the few that made sense. Sure she was a bit grumpy sometimes, but Morningpaw found herself consistantly seeking her out for guidance. (Hope that's alright to say as we haven't played out much of that ) These thoughts going through her mind should not come from one so young, and yet Morningpaw always did seem a bit beyond her Moons. Before long she glanced up and saw Larksong herself. She didn't yet see Firestep, but she wandered silently closer to Larksong, not yet saying a thing.(Hope it's ok if I crash your thread... <3)

Tumblestep perked her ears up and looked to Soulpaw, tilting her head to the side some as she didn't get an answer to her question. But that was fine, by the way she was begging Stumbleknot to train her, she seemed to be in top condition. It had been a while, but this made Tumblestep smile warmly. The young generation was where their life and vitality lay. Without them, they had nothing.
A mreow of laughter of her own surged forth at the combining of her own and their Deputy's name. She gave a rather sheepish grin Stumbleknot's way and laid a single ear back in an amused expression. She shook her head a little as she stood not far from the two. "Now that's an interesting combination to be sure." She laughed a little and nodded again before glancing around camp once more. She tilted her head a little and flicked her tail from side to side. "Would you two mind terribly if I came with you?"

Well I've got Snowpelt. She's a quiet sort, but she'd be happy to be Gingerfur's friend, or best friend, or what have you. She's around 33 moons, but she'd still befriend the younger cat.

Coldfoot had not yet noticed the Loner make her way into WindClan's little sanctuary, but this was likely good for her sake. Coldfoot really did not take very well to others tresspassing on the lands of his beloved Clan. He watched Gingerpelt quietly from his seat by the waters. She really was very nice to look at. He would never say as such out loud... That simply wasn't his way. He dipped down to lap at the waters of the small pond. His attentions remained mostly upon his Clanmate.
Now Coldfoot never was really known for being a very caring cat... Not overly uncaring either, just a bit indifferent. He was rather cold in nature as his name suggested. But he did care about those in his Clan... Somewhere deep down anyway. And the troubled look in Gingerpelt's eyes was unsettling. "You aren't happy." He stated rather bluntly. Well duh... But at least it gave her the opportunity to tell him why, should she deem it necessary.
If Coldfoot could hear the thoughts of the Loner, he'd probably laugh. He wasn't anything special... Sure his coat was sleek and a jet black in color, and his eyes were an icy blue, seeming to hold no emotion. He was tall and a bit lanky in build, rather common for those long legged WindClan born cats. He was built for running the moors and such. He soon leaned down to take another drink of water from the pool, but as the winds shifted... A scent was brought to his nose. Those eyes shot up to look across the pool and his anger spiked at what he saw and smelled.
Ears shot back, hackles shot up and the tom was in motion before even he knew it. He ran toward the Loner with an angry hiss, claws drawn and teeth bared. "What are you doing here. State your answer quickly and pray to StarClan your answer is acceptable." He said this quickly, venom in his voice. It was obvious that the cat wasn't one to accept tresspassers in his home... Guess Gingerpelt's problems would have to wait...

"Oof" Tumblestep surged forward a little as one of the Apprentices plowed lightly into her. She looked over her shoulder at the young one and smiled in amusement. Her tail flicked a little and she nudged her lightly with her nose in a rather playful manner. "Careful there... You alright?" She mewed with a caring sound to her voice. She glanced around looking for her mentor. She recognized this one as Soulpaw, Apprentice to Noxshadow. She hadn't seen Noxshadow around in a bit, and wondered where he had been. Granted, Tumblestep hadn't paid much attention to her clanmates, other than her beloved Shrubpaw, but still... She noticed she hadn't seen all that much of Noxshadow lately.
She glanced down at her untouched starling in front of her and she glanced at Soulpaw, suddenly not feeling all that hungry. "Have you eaten lately Soulpaw? Got to keep your strength up afterall." Always the caring one... Even if Tumblestep had seemed rather distant lately... But she would make sure the Apprentices and well... Everyone were taken care of as well as she possibly could. When she wasn't brooding about their current situation and such... But for now this seemed to be one of those times where Tumblestep snapped out of it and tried to care for her Clan.

Coldfoot had felt rather stifled the last few days. It had been the same old same old thing. Get up, hunt for the clan, train his little Apprentice... He held quite the soft spot for the young cat, but still... And guard the clan. Things were a bit tense with WindClan. Camp was too full and it was strange cats that it was so full of. Coldfoot really wasn't sure about all these different cats in their camp. They were ShadowClan for goodness sake... Weren't ShadowClan known for being bloodthirsty and terrible?
Well... Coldfoot had been slowly being proved wrong. The ShadowClan cats seemed to be a decent bunch... Their leader, Sharpstar, didn't seem to be an evil sort even if he was huge and intimidating. Coldfoot sighed, not really paying much mind to where he was going. He simply knew he needed to be out of camp for a while. His steps took him toward the hidden pond. A lovely place hidden in WindClan territory. He doubted any of those ShadowClan dolts knew about it.
And so his steps brought him here. Not paying attention to where he was going, Coldfoot trod on a small branch, hearing it snap under his weight. The sound startled him slightly and he jumped, skittering away from the sound and then glaring fiercely at the offending twig. Little did he know... He wasn't alone and there was someone to witness his little spook. He hissed slightly and grumbled some before looking up into a pretty pair of eyes belonging to one of his clanmates. He recognized her imediately and shook his head a little, trying to regain his composure. "Afternoon Gingerpelt." He meowed coolly before wandering over to take a seat near the refreshing waters of the pond.

~Tumblestep~ This was all wrong... They had won the battle, and yet Tumblestep couldn't help but feel the invisible claws shredding her belly. She felt empty and angry with herself and her Clan. How could they attack ShadowClan when they did nothing to deserve it? Sure... Duskstar had stated they deserved it and needed it... But how? Why? The young Warrior had so many questions that were unanswered. She sighed and moved to the full fresh kill pile, depositing most of her catch of the morning upon it. And taking a single starling for herself. This was not how ThunderClan was supposed to be... She sighed and shook out her fur before glancing around Camp wondering where her beloved Shrubwhisker had gotten to... She had asked if he wanted to go hunting this morning, but he had been busy. She sighed and shook her head a little. Everything was so confusing, but one thing was good in her life... Shrubwhisker had made it out of the battle alive with her. As had all her Clanmates. There had been no losses as far as she knew, and yet... What was the point of all of this? She soon moved off quietly to lay in the shade near the Warrior's den and enjoy her meal in silence. She had no Apprentice to train at the moment, so really nothing to do until her next patrol which wasn't for a bit of time yet. Great... And boredom would set in. She supposed she could go hunting again, but why... They were doing well with Fresh Kill, so for now she continued to watch the activity in camp, smiling slightly in amusement as she watched the antics of one of the Apprentices.

~Sharpstar~ Sharpstar made his way to Spicestar's den. He hated to be a burden or bother the Leader who had rescued and taken his Clan in, but he felt the need to speak with him on matters currently occuring. Certainly they had spoken shortly after the Clan came to their Camp, but it had been very brief as he needed to look after his Clan and be sure all was going well with them. But now he hoped to have a more lengthy conversation with Spicestar aboud expectations and what would happen from this point on. The bulky Leader was oddly nervous about addressing the smaller great Leader... And yet somehow none of this showed on his face or in his movements. They were sure and determined as he moved up to the den. He glanced about to see if Spicestar were around outside it, but didn't see him, so he meowed from the entrace in a strong, yet not demanding voice. "Excuse me... Spicestar are you here?" He glanced around but would await an affirmation or a long enough silence to gain his answer.

~Nightpaw~ The young she-cat hadn't been seen all day. She had left a bit before sunup and only now was returning. In her mouth she clutched the ears of three ShadowClan rabbits, and a mouse that also looked as if it had run in the ShadowClan marshes. There was a fire that burned in her eyes, and yet a new scratch bled slightly over her right ear. But she looked thouraghly pleased with herself. This young, fiery she-cat could be a force to be reckoned with to be sure. It seemed she had headed into ShadowClan for her hunting trip today. It was to be certain that she was not the small sneaking type, but she had managed to hunt and, for the most part, stay under the ThunderClan and RiverClan radar. She had wanted to check out if they were still haunting their homeland. To her dismay... They were. But her quest had not been completely useless. That long black tail whipped about behind her as she moved quietly into WindClan camp. She hated having to be here, but she was more than thankfull for the hospitality of the WindClan cats. She knew they had to band together and help eachother if they were to defeat the StarClan acursed other Clans. A quick glance around the camp was given by the young she-cat, tense in frame, until she spotted what she had sought. Her Deputy... Her closest friend... Nay, more than that... The cat she so loved. She felt a purr rumble up in her throat and she quickly ran to the Fresh Kill pile to deposit her catch, and then headed straight for him, mostly ignoring the group of cats of her own Clan, except to give them a gentle nod in greeting. Her steps took her quickly to Marshflight's side and she nuzzled his shoulder ever so gingerly in a greeting. "Hello Marshflight... How are you feeling?" She had left before he had awoken this morning, and yet worried greatly for him. He was still wounded afterall... ~Snowpelt~ Another cat of WindClan moved into the camp, a single WindClan rabbit swinging from her jaws. Hunting had been slim, yet she hadn't been out a whole long time. It was true Sharpstar had gone to speak with Spicestar. About what? She wasn't certain. There had been time since ShadowClan came to their camp, for her to talk to her beloved brother... But not a whole lot, for they didn't really wish to have anyone asking questions as to why they talked in excess... Her heart pained for her brother and his Clan, and yet it swelled at the same time at the gentle graciousness of her beloved Clan. They had been wary indeed, but they welcomed Sharpstar's Clan into their home. She nodded gently to Nightpaw as she came in. Her brother's daughter... Her niece... She looked well. There was a fresh scratch upon her ear, but she was a strong girl. Snowpelt purred softly as she watched the she-cat make a beeline toward the ShadowClan Deputy. Her eyes gave a warm glance to them. Snowpelt moved to deposit her catch on the pile before glancing over, seeing one of the ShadowClan warriors charge out of the camp. She sighed gently but followed, not wishing him to get hurt or any such. Sure WindClan camp wasn't, in itself dangerous, but it had it's dangers as any place did. For the time being she watched from afar as he tried hard, and failed, to catch one of their rabbits. She tried herself to keep her purring under control. She didn't want to seem amused at his failure. But she moved forward, meowing softly to announce her presence. "These are faster than the rabbits you're used to my friend..." She glanced to the rabbit who had disappeared down it's hole. "There are no trees for you to hide behind here. We have to depend on our speed and grace alone to catch our food. You might find it difficult to catch them as you currently are. But there are tricks I can show you if you wish to learn them..." As she spoke softly, the rabbit began to come out of it's hole. She suddenly darted away from the rabbit, circling around it rapidly, and began chasing it toward Nightstorm. She hoped he would react quickly as the frightered creature bounded in his general direction.

Coldfoot watched, eyes guarded and gaze near friged as it always was. But he watched and surveyed his Apprentices' movements. The frame of the lithe cat remained absolutely motionless, the winds in his fur the only thing that moved upon him. He listened and watched to critique her movements as she hunted the creature. He sniffed and felt the wind direction change and began to mentally cheer her on. It would be difficult at best for poor Dapplepaw to catch the creature now. But sadly the animal was fast and it's hole close. And as she gave chase he knew she would fail. Yet... As she came back, tail dropping and shame scalding her, there was an odd thing on Coldfoot's face... Was that a... Smile? Now that was strange... It looked out of place on the cat's maw, but there it was, the look of near amusement and some slight adoration for his young Apprentice... But he nodded and the look was gone almost as suddenly as it appeared. "Do you know what you did wrong Dapplepaw?" He mewed emotionlessly.
He awaited whatever answer she gave before shaking his head (or nodding if she gave the right answer) "You did nothing wrong. You could possibly have been a little quiet and lighter on your paws. But that comes with practice. But what happened there... The wind shifted and traitorously brought your scent right to your prey... That happens sometimes especially with such heavy winds as we deal with." He nodded carefully. What was this... Coldfoot being patient? Weird... "Don't worry you'll get another chance soon. Let's keep moving."

Snowpelt would stand closer to Ravenscar. This cat... smelled of the enemy. But as she listened to Ravenscar, she would nod gently in reply. She would trust those that Ravenscar trusted... She listened as Ravenscar spoke to Shiverpath about her 'friends' in ShadowClan. She dipped her head humbly at this, tail swaying just a little in uncertainty. Shiverpath may be Ravenscar's friend... But she was still RiverClan... Wasn't she honorbound to tell her Leader what she found out? Then again she didn't say as much, especially as she saw the other she-cat start to relax some. She nodded gently to her, but still said nothing.
The affection that came from the voice of the she-cat made her nervous... It was odd but Snowpelt felt something for Ravenscar... At the minimum it was a deep friendship, but it wasn't the minimum... It was likely far greater than that... But Snowpelt was good at keeping her feelings down and under control. Or at least out of sight. Her tail lashed just a tiny bit more agitatedly, but she calmed it after one sweep, causing it to only move gently as if with the light breeze. As she felt Ravenscar's form press more against her own, she would press back with gentle strength letting him know she was there for him.
She kept her unblinking gaze upon Shiverpath as she gave her reactions to these slight movements... Yet she got it wrong. Snowpelt perked her ears and tilted her head a little. She knew about things between her Clanmates and she shook her head still wordlessly along with Ravenscar's reply. As the talk turned more personal Snowpelt suddenly felt as if she shouldn't be there and that she was intruding. Snowpelt would nuzzle Ravenscar gently before mewing softly to him. "Ravenscar I think I will let you both catch up a bit... I am going to go back to Camp and see to Loudpaw... I was supposed to take him out hunting later today... I'll see you back at Camp." And attention would be turned to Shiverpath. "It was a pleasure to meet you Shiverpath... May StarClan guide your pawsteps... Farewell and thank you again... For everything." And with that the snowy she cat would make her way away from the meeting area toward Camp. She would be sure to hunt a little on the way so that it didn't look to suspicious, but she decided she was done with this meeting and the two needed some time to speak privately if they wished. If not, perhaps Ravenscar could catch up to her as she moved somewhat slowly once out of sight. Oh and she did not really understand everything... But Ravenscar likely wouldn't yet know that. For as stated before... Snowpelt was very good at hiding things...

Little Morningpaw made her way quickly toward the gathering group. Well mainly beelineing it toward her Mentor, Ravenclaw. Her tail lashed a little in irritation at herself. She was supposed to go out training this morning but she had slept in too long... Goodness sakes that never happened with the young Apprentice, then again, she had been feeling a little under the whether lately. But now she ran toward Ravenclaw looking sheepish and hoping he would forgive her. She approached slower as she saw the large group gathering. Oh great... She hoped he wouldn't berate her in front of all these Clanmates... But she would approach him without a word and stand at his side, watching and listening to what was being said. Finally she heard the word Hunt and she would start to mew in her soft gentle manner. "May I-" But her words were cut off by another bouncing Apprentice. Lilypaw... She rolled her eyes slightly but stood beside her Mentor in silence until the kit-like Apprentice was done. Finally she would raise her other-worldly gaze to her Mentor's eyes only. "May I go too sir? I would love to hunt with all of you..." Her voice was, as usual, soft and warm in her request.
